Thanks for the wonderful reviews. Since youve driven so many, what smaller SUVs have the overall viability? I current have a Murano Platinum which has checks almost every box for me. The only complaints Ive had are poor viability (Aand D pillars) and would like to have something smaller. Everything from the power tilt wheel, ventilated seats radar cruise and other tech are now musts after having my Murano. I thought about the Volvo XC40 but it doesnt have ventilated seats as an option. Amazed Volvo could omit such a thing. Then I liked the Kia Sportage Sx after watching your review but radar cruise control was a deal breaker. Both vehicles have the size, good performance, quite cabin and what I was looking for but lacked those two important features. Also would like something with an around view camera but I could live without that. I do wish you would add overall viability to your score since new designs really vary. Thank you for any recommendations if you happen to see this and have time to respond. Even if you dont, youre the best reviewer there is.

In my opinion, it still has too much Honda looks and it has design elements of lower end economy vehicles. It has the typical slim/straight lines known from Honda, it has its version of the C shaped tails Honda is using. not to mention how huge they are and how far the wrap around. We only see that on cheap cars. High end cars tend to be more neat with stuff like that. It has a downward sloping design line on the side. one elegant line on the belt-line giving it a wide shoulder would look better. It has that curve line on the front fender right over the wheel that is the EXACT same as the Honda Civic, its like that fender came right off a civic. So that line is separate and end right at the tip of the downward line on the side of the vehicle so now there are two lines that seems like they just wanted to put lines on the vehicle but couldnt think of design lines that actually worked together.

Acura always has gorgeous analogue gauges, which are refreshing to anyone who is constantly in front of digital displays at work and at home. Digital displays are just not as dimensional. The use of digital displays in between the analogue gauges is good engineering. I have been a Honda/Acura enthusiast since 1987, and was a little disappointed with the TLX, and hope they come out with a turbo V-6. In fact, I hope they will put the same turbo V-6 in a kicked up version of the RDX sometime soon. This is a beautiful car, and it is really neat not to see the gaudy Beetlejuice fireplace screen grill on the front that is popular with the Lexus crowd, and that the top end model is quiet, luxurious, loaded with good options, and very competitive with respect to cost. I might just get the RDX and drive it until they redesign the RLX and TLX.

Hi Alex, first I wanted to say I love your videos, and I am always looking forward to the new one. So I have a question, I wanted to email you but could not find an email. My wife and I own a Kia Sorento SX and we love it but need a bigger car. We are looking at 3 row SUV. Do you have any recommendation? Budget will be under 50k. Pretty much the bigger the better for the money. I love the new Lincoln Navigator but it is too expensive Thinking that I will test drive Chevy traverse and Dodge Durango. I am concerned about dodge reliability. Any thoughts? Thank you for your help.

BMWs (X3) and Acuras placement of the primary USB port directly adjacent to the beverage holder seems like an accident and repair shop visit waiting to happen. Also, I like the volume of secondary storage underneath the console, but I am concerned about stored objects flying into the driver-side foot well w/o the drivers knowledge, impacting pedal use. Overall, this looks like a good offering from Acura and it will likely be a great option on the CPO / used market in 2 - 4 years.

I am really surprised how no reviewer (none that I have seen so far) ever mentioned how badly the driver left thigh space is compromised due to that big wide centre console. I thought at least Alex would mention it, but it seems strange almost everyone giving it a pass despite it so tiny one can literally you have no space to relax or extend your right/left thigh in the front seat (knee fatigue is guaranteed in those seats. Alex, did you really not notice that?

Something is wrong on this SUV for people who live in northern countries. There is no pass through for skis between the rear seats like a Q5 or a X3. Moreover, there is no roof rails to put roof bars as opposed to a Q5 or a X3. This means that if you want to put roof bars you have to squeeze it between the frame and the doors which is not a good system. This is very surprising since this is a family vehicle and that the MDX has roof rails. Shame on you Acura.

Alex. Great review as always. I think your graphic is messed up at 23: 04. Goes off the left side of the video. Also I tend to agree with previous comments about the logo magnet on the sides of the car. It detracts from the impression of the car on the video. Anyways your logo is in the right lower corner of the video and on your shirt which is perfect and sufficient. No need to have it on the car too unless there was another reason to have it there.

Youre reviews are excellent, yet lacking on SUVs. Most SUV rear seats DO NOT fold flat. most have a slight or pronounced angle. A helpful addition to your reviews would be loading empty boxes into the cargo area so viewers could see how the rear seat non-flat fold down angles will affect loading. I transport rescued dogs in metal dog cages (for free as a volunteer) and non flat fold downs on my 2010 CR-V greatly hamper my loading.
