Thanks for the review! Great car! I would get one except for 2 things. 1) I like a few tech features which would push this car into the high 60Ks. 2) Try getting your hands on a 2023. My local dealer said they had an allocation for TWO! One was pre-sold and the other they are putting a 30K markup on! You heard right. 30, 000. Alternatively, I was able to put an order in for a 2023 M240i with the new iDrive 8 system and RWD for around 57K with NO markup and a 2-3 month wait. Sounded much more reasonable to me.

Alex I love your videos but honestly how can u say that for 58k starting price this car is the best all around daily and performance vehicle u have tested in 22? The bmw m340i for 64k comes well equipped and provide a much better driving feel and comfort too! And we all know the hp numbers are a lie from bmw at 382hp imo and that s it is an opinion you may wanna reconsider that statement no? Thanks Alex

I remember when the Haldex unit came to Audi with the first generation TT. Before that Audi didn't use a transverse mounted engine. I went on a mountain drive with the Bay Area Audi club driving from Livermore up to Lick Observatory and then down into San Jose. The Haldex unit became readily apparent during all of those switchbacks and its strange clicking.

That talk about the rear diff reminds me of how my old '86 Ranger handled with the LockRight locker in the rear. Albeit that was a 2800 pick-up with a 300 mechanical diff, twin I-beam front suspension and probably a 70-30% weight balance for that 160hp V6 to push around, but it was tail happy all-day, especially on dirt.

I own an M340 xdrive and I priced a new RS3 and it s the same. Thinking of getting the RS3 or another M340. The BMW is such a good car though. I had an S3 before the M340 so I m familiar with how good the Audi is, but this new RS3 must be special.

Not that I can afford any of them, but I would take an Audi over a BMW or Benz any day. BMW and Benz used to be classy looking cars. Now, they're just kind of okay looking at best. Audi on the other hand has gone from boring to classy.

Think
The previous version was definitely better looking
And this offers similar performance to the last.
This is more refresh than redesign

How did the 6'5 guy fit in the driver seat? I'm 6'5 and have kind of ruled this car out for its published headroom numbers.
