The problem with the PHEV market is there's not many options. A non-tax credit Hornet is still likely cheaper than a Lexus/Volvo with the tax credit, and Ford Escape is slow in comparison. Rav4 Prime impossible to get.

It being a crossover really disappointed me. I dont like how so many new vehicles are crossovers/SUVs. I get that they are popular, but sedans still matter
