I Sold My Car to Carvana! How Did It Go?

With the astronomical cost of insuring a car in the city of Detroit and his desire to focus on his savings and long-term investments, Brian recently made the tough decision to sell his 2019 Hyundai Veloster N after four years of ownership. After doing some research, he landed on selling to Carvana because they offered him the best price and had, at least on paper, the easiest selling process. Was the process as easy as the commercials make it out to be, though? Should you go the Carvana route like he did? To help answer this question and more, Brian turned to Ed Kim, President and Chief Analyst at AutoPacific, an automotive market research firm based in California. Similar story. car was paid off and in excellent condition, so they matched their initial quote and it was very painless. We had them come to us as we don't have a vending machine anywhere close by. I'm sure I could have gotten even more selling it ourselves, but I still got more than I paid for it and, man. there's genuine value in being so easy.

New supply is increasing consistently and will continue as rates are high. But there will be a surplus of supply thus the prices will drop significantly to increase demand. Im waiting till end of this year to get a car

Did the money transfer work well? How long it took for the check to clear? I heard of issues with the payment, check did not clear for days and weeks, eventually transactions got canceled. Thank you

8000-9000 of cost to you over 4 years (about 180 per month plus insurance, gas and any oil changes) is pretty excellent. Well done.
