ayaxro, the uprated SS version has 180 bhp, not 170. And horsepower isn't all that matters, it's got quite a good amount of torque and every review says it handles spectacularly.
Yes, Abarth could have gone crazy a put in a 200+bhp engine in it, but they have stated on numerous occasions there goal is to make a car that's easy, fun, fast and safe (Which is why you can't fully turn off the ESP. It's also so it won't compete with the new Alfa Mito GTA (Same engine, 230+ bhp.

Its actually already boosted, thats how a 1. 4 can make 155hp. And the uprated version is 170hp? lol. I just think it would be much more popular if it was at least in the 200hp range. its almost as if they tried to stay away from that market. That thing needs a 1. 8T at least.

i'm so happy that fiat/abarth and alfa romeo found their way again. I mean we have now 2 abarths the new alfa mito which is an exciting car and we have mooooore to wait for. Italians do it better. And im not even from italy xD

It all has to be V6 at least, V8 preferably. -

Totally agree with you. But it is a 1. 4. Not bad for a 1. 4. Maybe you should use a slightly higher displacement, it's also quite heavy too. The romans weren't great with technology or build quality.

Italian cars are well known for the dodgy reliability and build quality. Electrical components seem to fail faster on an Italian car, than say, a Japanese or German car.

. I hope they have changed a LOT then, my grandpa bought a Fiat a while back and as soon as he got off the lot the knob for the stick shift came off.
