I like how the -hot shoe- driver footage is all alone on track and wearing a helmet, unlike our reviewer. Cleaver stuff but not enough to trick a keen eye. At least he didn't blow up the engine or get passed by the other journalists in his rear view mirror. or maybe they weren't allowed to pass during their lapping sessions? Still enjoyed the review anyhow. Send this poor guy to a driving school already!

Personally, I think RenaultSport have nailed it with this car, and I will be placing an order once they become available for sale here in Australia
6spd manual box for me - none of this slush-box crap designed for the lazy-arse Gen-Y set
I want the car to be engaging to drive and I just don't get this sensation without a clutch pedal

I can never understand why the Leon Cupra always gets over looked by you journalists when talking about hot hatch comparisons. It-s always the Golf GTI, a Type R and that Megane will eat a GTI for breakfast. The Cupra has 296bhp through the front wheels and an LSD, surely that is the one to compare it to?

sounds good but did anyone see the car being twitchy in the corners just think that will be exaggerated on a wet road. the guy driving said front wheel drive cars are usually less engaging than 4wd/rwd cars - nonsense mister!

This car isnt supposed to challange the civic or clubsport but the 2019 trophy 300/310 is. thats why this is just regular. same power as the civic and clubsport and it will beat both with 4weel steer i am sure og it.

Sounds like it has a really cool chassis. For a hot hatch I think it has enough power. I'd definitely have it over the Type-R, I just can't get over that cars ridiculously childish design. This looks awesome.

Come on Autocar, seriously! You're supposed to be a leading motoring publication and this is the quality you put out? No wonder social media 'influencers' are becoming more popular.

It is a pity that the driver who talks about the car (on inner shots) is not the same driver we see on the shots outer the car.
