OK it is unique and nice looking but for 400, 000 sterling or over $ 1/2 a million the mid engine corvette will blow this into the weeds, easily. SO it weighs 900 kg or 2000 lbs and has 414 HP, yet 0- 60 takes about 5 seconds? Its power to weight is 460 hp/tonne, much more so than the standard AMG A45S (approximately 265 hp/tonne, all wheel drive) and yet the latter does 0 - 62 mph in 3. 9 seconds. What a waste of power then. Even the mod engine corvette at 495 hp, 3600 lbs (303 hp/tonne) does it in high 2 or low 3 seconds.

The original Volvo P1800 is as elegant as a Patek Philippe Ellipse. This restomod is just another racer. Beethoven replaced by the Bon Jovi. The spirit of the original is gone. Why do men constantly have to prove their girth? Perhaps a bit of yoga would help. Porsche by Singer is still the best.

Outstanding, i worked in a Volvo Dealership when these cars were new, loved them then & still love them to this day, in my opinion one of the best looking cars ever produced, even more so the P1800ES

Watching Vtuned/Tavarish/Goonzquad. love their spirit and custom work etc but this car is a beauty, just a beautiful take on the original and exactly represents what I've been looking for.

You sad bar stewards. This isn't brilliant at all. It's a weird sounding kit car with no soul (95% kit and 5% original P1800.
