There exists a scenario wherein a loaded yaris gr can cost the same as a base model civic r and I'm sorry but the civic can double as a 4 seater grand tourer with an interior that borders on exotic. Fascinating as the yaris is-and the track pack version appears to be a potential cross-class pound for pound champion-we can't soon forget that the civic was the fwd Nordschleife record holder and also exists in the nether world of out running more powerful cars with awd, rwd, dct's in summary all comers. p. s. -I would have differentiated the two gr yaris's via a longer final drive I would have attributed to the non track pack yaris similar to how disgruntled mavens of the Cayman gt4 view its gearing as uncomfortably tall. The narrower anti roll bars and propensity to initiate body roll would perfectly accentuate taller gearing.

2 different class, 2 different purpose, 2 different weight, 2 different size, 1 watched what other did and improve on that. almost like everyone tries to find a car or vehicles better or faster than Honda/Acura products to say, - ahhh Honda not so good. because someone did this better. hahahaha-. that isn't healthy. LFA was unique, NSX was and is unique, type R Civic is unique, this new Toyota Yaris is unique, S2000 is unique

The comment at 1: 40 saying the normal civic looks like it was meant to be a Type R. They designed the entire car around the Type R and worked backwards this time around, so that does make sense and I think the normal civic looks a little unusual (not bad, but different)

The Yaris looks like a tarted up Mk 1 Aygo and the Civic. Even with the facelift coming it looks hideous. Whats Japan doing these days? They might drive well but Thank Goodness Theres still a VW Golf GTi.

1)its GR Yaris RZ gr4
2)its not made on the same line, in fact it's made in Japan at the Motomatchi plant where the LFA was made

I find car pricing strange in the UK, I feel bad that every car seems to cost 25% more then we pay here in Canada. Is it all taxes?
