Cd isn-t the only contributor to drag. Drag Force=0. 5-p-cd-v-2-A you can-t control p or V with vehicle design so that means you-re left with Cd=coefficient of drag (streamlining) and A which is the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the air flow.
The cross sectional area of the SLK is about 2/3 that of the box you-re testing so even with a better Cd, the SLK is still more aerodynamic.

Actually that shape is very similar to the Prius, and there's a good reason for that. Mercedes had a concept car years ago shaped like a fish that was the most aerodynamic (in water instead of air but it's the same physics) fish ever found. That fish is the reason a Prius looks the way it does, it's why the Insight looks like a Prius, and why this is very similar.

Sure you might save money on fuel during the life of the car, however mercedes are more likely to breakdown which means you'd have to spend money on repairs. Get a Lexus and save yourself some real money.

Is it just me who couldn't see how the air passed over the car? I just saw paint clouds flying over it, not in any streamlined fashion.
