Range Rover Sport 2013 review - Auto Express aspiringdrummer17: Jealousy is a bit of an extreme term here. The poverty problems that India faces (and probably always will face) are enough to make sure that no-one in a Western country will ever be jealous of Indians. The things India is doing or hopes to do in the future are certainly commendable and impressive but the fact that it completely ignores how poor the overall populace is always looks bad on a world stage

Well, I think we should stop arguing about which country makes this car as every part of the car is obtained from different parts of the globe. Also, this is not a place to demean each others' countries. we should commend the engineers and designers for coming up with a good product such as this(hope they have sorted out the reliability issues that crib these Land Rovers. BTW, this review sucks!

What gripes me is the fact that in Canada I can't even order one with a diesel engine. I can get the gas sucking big gas engine but no diesel. What a crap deal! does nobody understand that you can get amazing performance from a diesel in this day and age?

For my VW, 40% came from Germany and I believe 60% from Holland and was assembled in America. Am sure that the parts from Europe out weigh parts from Japan and China. Then I believe few things come from the US.

Money that could be used to help India's crippling poverty is instead put towards making cars for rich Westerners that Indians like you could never afford. Enjoy your poverty; )

Owned by an indian company. Designed and built in the UK by the same people who worked there before tata took over, there's nothing indian about this car sorry bud

That is my point exactly. You can also get the diesel to out perform the hot gas engine that they put in them. So you can have the best of both worlds.

What a load of rubbish - any old second hand 4x4 could do that course - indeed a 2 wheel drive with a limited slip diff would probably manage it.
reply

Yeah everyone is envious of Indians, haha, the fact you are bragging about owning nothing special, is what makes us westerners pity you.
