And the reason the sti lost the drag race isn-t simply because of the weight; it-s because no human can shift a manual as fast as a DSG. Not a slight on the WRX, it-s just the physics of the two transmissions.
That said, both amazing cars regardless.

He talks of the Audi Dynamic setting but does not mention the Subaru Sport Sharp setting at all. Something tells me he had no idea it was there, and that would explain why the Subaru-s time was not close to what it can be. I have a 66 plate Audi and a 67 plate STi sat on the drive. The Audi is the commuting car, the STi everything else.

Hard choice! But in the end i would take the S3, just an intake, down pipe and tune and your at 350-360 awhp plus WAY BETTER interior, engineering etc. i have a base model 5speed RSX putting down 240whp and 205tq with a K24a2 block and 20a2 head. It beats modded 350z HRs, sti, evos etc. getting the RS3 next fall!

Even though the Audi has more power per liter. I-m pretty sure the Subaru is still the one i-d take home. It-s something about the WRX/STI that keeps me coming back honestly. I-m a V8 guy but the only 4 cylinder compact sports cars I-d ever buy. Would most definitely come from Subaru hands down.

For all you Audi lovers out there, here is the tough pill to swallow. The actually truth is WRX-STI does 0-60 mile in 4. 6 seconds flat. It was proven by Subaru, and Motortrend. STI would eat this comfy sedan for a snack lol, it's a proper rally sedan for the road.

I got the s3. No manual option in Canada unfortunately but it is a blast. Went stage 2 pretty much instantly and it-s pulled on v8-s. not a lot of money spent going stage 2 either. Still a lot of bolt ons I could do but am gonna start on suspension and brakes next.

I just bought a 2017 Audi S3 over the subaru and i live in lake arrowhead California. i smoke all the subarus going up that mountain i love this car.
And i don't have any problems burning oil or dsg problems. You guys are just haters

What about handling, grip, balance, brakes. ? This video is a non sense as a sport car test.
Next time do a fair comparison between a sofa and the S3.

I dont know the official 0-60 figures for the audi but 5. 6 is definitely wrong for the STI.
Both these cars could have done better, the drivers must try harder.

I love to see drag races especially on cars not meant to drag race. It is up there with watching paint dry. I bet the Subaru would get it on a track.
