Gear changes, well depends what you're used to I guess, but for me its far worse than even an MX5 box.
Good luck with this car, values will still fall far faster than a spyder, but having said that, due to this car, spyder owners will now not make the 30k they thought they would. good news there. the spyders design is far nicer in person though.

Excellent review of this car. However the bargain argument may be true but at $88, 000 without any options is very expensive. That means if I purchased it and traded in my 2019 Bullitt Mustang I-d still need to come up with about $65, 000 to buy it after taxes and with no options except maybe the Bose! Almost $100, 000! I-m not sure about that as a bargain. For me the base 4 cylinder is much better bargain with the 4 cylinder. The 4 with sport exhaust standard and several nice options would be about $65-70k. That-s a bargain for a Porsche with great handling and driving dynamics. I-d love the GTS but it-s so expensive!

Great video. Nice photography and drone work. I ordered a 2022 Porsche 718 Boxster GTS in Carmine red with most every option to be delivered 5 November, 2021. I ordered the PDK since we have a lot stop and go traffic and I like to drive fast and PDK is faster naught to 60. I think it will be a great car. I ordered it without ever driving it. I did go the the Porsche Experience center in the USA headquarters in Atlanta, GA and loved he 911.

A PROUD owner of a Porsche Cayman 2008 with manual trans and flat 6 cyl, It'S the best car I have ever owned and I've had several sports cars. Nothing beats the sound of a Porsche flat 6 engine, I usually don't turn on the radio b/c the engine sound is something you'll never hear in any other vehicle.

people say you only have a boxster because you cant afford a 911, what a pile of horse ----, that car is the best that porsche do for that kind of money its superb unless you get to the ultra exotic stuff give me a boxtser gts anyday

Well I'd rather ride a donkey than drive any four cylinder turbo charged Porsche, it has to be flat six as speed and bhp is the not irrelevant, that iconic flat six NA sound is non negotiable to any Porsche sports car. End off.

The car you were driving there was not 65k though probably 80k as tested.
For me the cayman GTS is the pick of the Porsche line up now for road biased use.
Let-s see what the prices do over the next 3 years!

I freaking love my OG speed yellow 2. 7 986, but wow I wish I could spend this much on a toy, this package looks soooo complete. Top down N/A boxer noise under the sunshine is what I live for.

I own a 2020 718 Spyder. If I had known this car was coming out I would have ordered it as I detest the manual roof of my Spyder. I'm happy Porsche brought this out. Cheers!
