NEW Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid review: INCREDIBLE luxury - Auto Express B. : There-s always a market for these high-end luxury cars - no matter what engine drives it. Question will be how many places these cars will be able to go to. The issue will be size and weight, communities and esp cities will (most likely rather sooner than later) limit access for big and overly heavy vehicles. For PHEVs that-ll be a problem as the carry additional weight that might prevent pollution but is hard on the surfaces and adds kinetic force in accidents (with pedestrians.
I-d guess the future of PHEVs is less than 10 yrs. And that will put pressure on sales and used car values.

I still can't believe that both Bentley and Rolls Royce haven't developed and launched a BEV yet. Surely a BEV is the perfect fit for an Uber Luxury car. Basically silent, power on demand and more efficient. Both could use the power units from their respective groups. Imagine a Flying Spur or Conti GT with the Taycan Turbo S power unit? How about a Phantom or Wraith with the BMW XM power unit both these power units have circa 750hp and instant torque. Makes perfect sense to me. ---

I hope you were joking, the W12 is still the dady, it is an engine that have been made only for the bentley, and audi, Porsche and lambo doesn't use it, and is more smoth anf powerful than those engines, especially compare to the V6, V6 in a bentley- is just meh, I would go for the Hybrid if I only use the car in the town

How did they miss. a pure 2. 9ltr TT V6 for the Flying Spur. without the hybrid pretentiousness? That, would've bn smfn-. The only other option that'd exite my fancy. a pure 300mile range EV Flying Spur with 600cc LPG camless engine Range Extender. I like to dream.

it exists because of upcoming regulations banning combustion engines in city centers but allowing hybrid (electric only) mode, the china market where engine size matters to a huge degree, and prob tax writeoff stuff.

-How long is the W12 for this world? -. If the Bentley buyers actually cared about running costs, the W12 would've been dropped a long time ago. This car is all about opulence and excess after all.

I know this car would go crazy at you if you were to hit something, but I really wouldn't want to drive this in town or tight spaces, Expecially towns of today if you get what I mean-

I wish Bentley would change the exterior style to something super modern and eye-catching. This design is waaaay past it's time. Genesis looks as good if not better.

How long is the W12 long for this world? In the context of Bentley possibly one of the most redundant questions you could ask --

Cost savings significant compared to a V8 or W12? You really think Bentley owners are really worried about cost savings?
