I'm 47 years old have been working on cars since I was a young teenager. The most valuable lesson I learned first was to take my time shut my mouth and look and listen. I've worked in a few different shops and there is nothing worse than young parts changers not only are they short changing the customer they are cheating themselves from learning their complete skills to diagnosing the real problems. That being said it refreshing to see a tech taking the proper steps in getting to the route of the problem. Honesty and integrity are everything in this business and let me tell you I sleep well at night.

You as the mechanic on this Lesabre are an honest mechanic. My century just had a computer put in. Drove it from the mechanics to my home no issues try backing up into my drive way and shifting to reverse no trouble, but had to put in drive to avoid hitting my neighbors shed, back in reverse to finish backing into place and the car stuck in reverse now it stuck in R and won't start or get out of gear. I'm gonna try to tackle this, gonna try. thanks.

If I'm brook down in New York! I know where my vehicle will go! Don't think it will matter on the tow bill at lease the mechanic i know will be honest! Guys like u are really far and few between! Great work! Stay honest! U will good far!
P. S. I hope the shop that car came from didn't put that computer in! And there going to take it back there?

If thats a 2003 its the exact car i have now and man, i have many questions and concerns about this car and what I need to fix it and how much it would cost me and if its even worth it. It was my uncles car, he gave it to my cousin and my cousin gave it to me. It needs lots of tlc but I don't have the cash now to give it that. I'm trying though.

I sent mine Buick lesabre custom to the shop bc I was getting power it kept dying they said I needed a fuse box under the hood. They messed with the car never put one in. Now I have no turn signals. The fuses are not popped. Whwn I bought the car the windows didnt work nor the locks still haven't figured it out yet. Ugh

With the fuse having two possible locations I know I have a 2004 Chrysler 300M and on that car you can put the fuse direct to the battery for the car lighter or ignition switched. So depending the slot is the two possible options. Maybe that's explain why you can put that fuse in two different slots.

Ford, GM do NOT buy them!
Good Find Cats do plug up and melt/break and nothing can come out of the exhaust and the engine can NOT get fresh air to run and bogs down really fast!
Who is the genius whio decided to replace the ECM with the WRONG one?

Enjoy yur diagnostic technique. This is an ART few mechanics possess. They want to throw parts at a car, see what sticks. They have no clue what caused the problem. Yes, the result goes away; however, the problem is still there.

SO-O-O. do you give your customers the link to THEIR diagnosis so the can see what crp you had to go through to unrepair their vehicle so you can repair it correctly?

I've got a series 1 3800 in a 95 park ave. Sometimes it cuts out without warning, or I cut it off and it wont start again. Any ideas? Already put on new fuel pump.
