I would have thought you could also look in the cruise control section for brake switch activation yay/nay.
I went thru the same issue on our 06 T&C. When we first got it a few years ago, it had a couple of things that didnt work. Went to the fuse box right off the hop and quickly found a fuse that had a corroded off leg. Luckily it was just the one side, and I was able to take a pick tool and get the corroded off piece out and clean up the terminals. I gave it a generous treatment with dielectric grease and replaced the fuse. Been good ever since! While I was in there, I pulled all the fuses and relays and gave em all the same clean and grease treatment.

I have the same problem of the brake lights not working on my 2005 Grand Cherokee, changed the bulbs, no help, tomorrow I'm changing the fuse. The fuse looks corroded although not as much as the one in this video, maybe that's my problem, I'll see with the new fuse in. Not sure how to go about cleaning it though in that confined space.

Hi, I have been trying to do a parasitic draw test on a 1991 C-4 corvette basic model. When I put my com lead from the multi meter on the neg. battery terminal I hear a noise like the headlight motors are running numbers are jumping all over on the multi meter. Then it drops to. 002. And stays there. What does this mean. Thanks

Eric, I would love to take a better look at the brake wedgie tool.
Do you have a video showing it or can you spot light it in a future video? Please!
I can pretty much figure it out but would like to know how you lengthen the rod (no pun intended )
Thanks much, Mark

Looks like a good fix to me. Have to ask though; if he wanted you to fix the brake lights, wouldn't you have replaced the burnt-out bulbs in the CHMSL? (yes, I'm sure the CHMSL issue was bulbs, my Grand Cherokees go through those bulbs regularly) Maybe you did, off-camera?

Eric it is only temporary, unless it works, then we go for a little more time. Maybe 2 winters. Nice job it fulfills the requirements of the vehicle and it is fused. I think some would have soldered the connection inside the box so they would never need a fuse.

You saved my bacon with the discussion about TIPM bypass kits. I have a very cheap salvage title PT that i think needs a TIPM. Horn out, airbag lights on, etc. FOr just a horn I will definitely consider that fix.
