To refute the terrible or vague comments on which tools to trust, its simple when you use a tool you have to be smarter than the tool.
Meaning, the tool is a only a guide not a direct path, scan tools can and will go way out in left field if you as the tech think the tool is the gospel.
Dont not trust you scan tools or diag equipment, simply use redundancy and repeated checks along with proper troubleshooting deduction.
PLUS, always include a note in your scan tool case of what you know it cant do or cant do well, this is so you dont waste time later on a similar job.
Always be smarter than the box holding your tools otherwise your only useful as a box of rocks, not everybody is good at diagnostic and most techs are parts changers!

Eric, Gary Ferraro from Long Island NY transmission shop just had a similar issue with a bad sensor on a Toyota truck, seemed like when the sensor got hot all the parameters went crazy, he used a heat gun to simulate excess heat then checked with OHM meter, when it cooled off went back to normal. He had to take pics of all the sensors and get with Toyota dealer so he knew which one to order, he also said each sensor 300. 00 plus

Some Hyundais have a ribbon cable inside the transmission instead of wires thats soldered to the connector and the solder joints are known to break and cause issues. I had to remove the harness on a friend of mines car and touch up all of the solder joints. You have to remove the valve body to get to it but its not that bad. Just have to be sure to put the springs on top back in the right place.

My brother has an 06 Kia Sportage 4wd and he hates it. Its in the shop now for a stalling at low speed complaint. The wiring harness going to the M. A. P. sensor has wire nuts on it from the last guy that was messin with it. He's spent over a 1, 000 in repairs on it already.

Funny story: the same day you post a vid about tranny issues I manual swapped my civic, put the whole thing together and realized I forgot to install the pilot bearing Just got it put back together again and now I'm gonna relax to some actual top tier mechanical work!

It's got to inspire a lot of confidence in the shop you've taken your car too for repairs when you get the bill and find out you were billed for sending your car to another shop for diagnosis and then brought back so the clueless idiots can replace a part.

Nothing boring with this one, included some good lessons around trusting your instincts with powerfeeds and not just buying off on the diagrams. Check it to be sure, it can't hurt, and it only costs you a minute or two.

Like I've said before- there's no one in Amarillo Texas that has enough sense/trAining or personal Drive to do what you do. They mostly guess and throw money and parts at problems.
