Love this type of videos! I love watching and learning how to do the bigger mechanical work as well, but stuff like this hits closer to home, when you don't have car jacks, jack stands, torque wrenches etc, to undertake bigger repairs by yourself. It's nice seeing how to fix the smaller things properly as well.

Don t know if Eric has muscle fatigue or he s high on mirror adhesive! Step three, slide mirror back over button, release tab and swear as your mirror falls down, hits your shifter, and shatters. Giving you another seven years of bad luck! Just what you needed.

Great video that will be useful to the everyday person and the tech as well. You'd be surprised how many senior techs i've run into that can do major engine work, but are stumped by simple things such as reattaching a rearview mirror properly.

I have done loads of these, with extreme cleanliness and care, and have never had one last more than a year before it fell off again, there may be one of the types of kit that works better than the rest, I ve never found it!

I was driving a friend's car, and tried to adjust the rear view mirror. It came off, but when it did, it took a chunk of glass with it. It looked like it had been repaired before.

Went through 3 windshield specific kits. Followed instructions completely and cleaned everything. Each kit failed in 3 days. Went with gorilla glue clear epoxy and it's been up for a year.

An when you get in in the morning an your mirror is laying in your cupholder. Take it down to a windshield place an let them use the good glue they won't sell you glue sniffers.
