Sell your car for free with Carwow: Who’s ready for an epic Brabus showdown! We’ve got our hands on the incredible Brabus 900 Rocket R, and it’s set to face off against two 900 Superblacks - one based on the GLS, and one based on the G63! So let’s see how these epic machines compare. The 900 Rocket R is based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. The standard car is powered by a 3. 8-litre twin-turbo flat-six that provides 650hp and 800Nm of torque. However, Brabus has added two high-performance turbos, while also making several other tweaks. As a result, the Rocket R produces an incredible 900hp and 1, 000Nm! This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, weighing in at 1, 640kg. The Rocket R is limited to just 25 units, and from new, it costs an eye-watering 400, 000! Alongside it, we have the 900 Superblack GLS and the 900 Superblack G63. Both cars usually come with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, but these engines have now been uprated to 4. 5-litre, and have both had two new turbos added. As a result, these cars now produce 900hp and 1, 250Nm (although the torque has been limited to 1, 050Nm. The G63 weighs in at 2, 700kg, while the GLS weighs 2, 800kg. And while the G63 costs 360, 000, the GLS only’ costs 330, 000. So the winner of this race may be a foregone conclusion, but how will the two Superblacks compare There’s only one way to find out for sure LET’S RACE!

My car could also make 1250Nm - but to preserve the 2. 0 4 cylinder I stick with the stock turbo and limited 400Nm.
But honestly, Brabus terrible. Brabus is about cars that draw attention and are overpriced. That's what their customer wants. Numbers on the spec sheet (especially the top speed) and the high price is the selling point of those cars. Therefore they even advertise theoretic torque that isn't actually available. Any proper tuner would swapped the whole powertrain - and the result would be still cheaper than a Brabus.

Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176, 000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000, 000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400, 000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

Brabus which is basically like Hennessy. The flashy number is great but the cars produce well below the marketed figures to the wheels. So a 900hp GLS is on par with a urus that doesn’t make sense. That turbo S should be deep in the 9’s even with traction issues

That one of the most famous car tuning companies is placed in Bottrop is so funny as I come from around the area and usually, we say people with the BOT (Bottrop) numberplate are unable to drive since they drive often way below the speed limit
reply

So, the same bhps, same torques, but different masses. I think its called power: weight ratio and aerodynamics. 2 supertankers versus a gas-turbine destroyer. Somewhat effing predictable. Please do better.

What is the point of Brabus, they make no real improvements on cars, yet you pay so much, for what exactly, you're not getting a much faster car, and definitely no extra tech or gadgets, just a name, BRABUS
reply

Can you guys put the American metric system as well. I have to convert everything and it's annoying. Please use foot pound of torque and pounds for the weight of the car.

CARWOW OF YOU SEE THIS PLEASE REPLY (put a camera on the back bumper close to the exhaust for when your driving you can really hear the exhaust with no ReV LiMTer

3: 05. Here's an idea. for the sound check part, roll all cars at about 5 kph, put in neutral or press clutch) and THEN rev. That's how I get past mine! ;)

I like Brabus, but their B is too big and does not look nice. We got that G Wagon at a dealer here locally, and IRL it's even worse. The front B is just too big.
reply

Brabus is no different than AMG anymore. The scoops on the G-wagon are AutoZone stickon scoops and all of these will make 900hp with an off the shelf tune.
reply

Wait, what 10. 1sec
The standard 911 does 10. 1. This thing should at least get a mid 9
Maybe Brabus specialises in detuning for lots of cash

Matt is a #SuperHero #HardNut he killed a fly we need him to help us stop all #Injustice lol.
But them #Brabus #Cars are some serious kit.

Seeing as these cars are enhanced’ and the Olympics are on:
it was like watching Ben Johnson race two East German shot putters.

I think a drag race between that 900 rocket r and Jamie's 992 turbo s and a stage1 992 turbo s will be a great video Who agrees with me
reply

Brabus is ridiculous on their pricing for minimal gains in performance all across the board, no matter what vehicle platform it is.

I was just searching to buy a g wagon brabus and gls brabus thanks for giving me a review buying both hollman am coming with usdt
reply

Probably an unpopular opinion but I think the GLS is the nicer looking of the three. The alloys on the Porsche are horrible
reply

Hey Carwow team, could you also add the best times of the base cars when Matt does the thing with tuned cars in the future
reply

I like the patterns in the seats and the side panels on the Mercedes. If I had my pick it would be the GLS
