All French cars are infamous for having huge electric/ electronic problems, and I should know, because I own an old Peugeot 207 diesel. They make the best diesel engines though, but unfortunately, thanks to politics in Europe, they are now not fashionable anymore. I had an old Citroen C3 before, but a lightbulb blew and C3 has the incredible computer issue, well known on the internet, that a lightbulb issue could lead to the computer locking down electricity to that side of the car entirely. It is suddenly a computer problem, that demands an expensive computer reset, not just a cheap do it yourself lightbulb change! My neighbor got a Renault Twingo, brand spanking new! That one would not start AT ALL in the cold winter days last winter! I had another 207 years ago and in just 5 month owning that one it blew all lightbulbs the car around, no exception! My nephew spend his entire childhood savings buying a Peugeot 207 years ago, could not afford more than liability as a first time car owner, and the damned thing burst spontaneous into flames standing on a parking lot, thanks to an electrical fault. What could possible go wrong with an EV with all things controlled through an infotainment system build by one of these French carmakers! Good luck to you, if you buy one! Have you heard about run away EV fires, that not even the fire brigade can control or put out You should familiarize you with THAT issue!

The price is right, and as the salesman gives you the usual spiel you ask about the fuel consumption and range. Cheerfully the salesman informs you that it is the best in class, from new.

I really can't watch the waterbottle test anymore. You are using a car to transport water bottles, as if there is nothing else to transport. Always searching in the front to get that 1 liter bottle stored somewhere! I don't know anybody who drives around with a one liter water bottle. A cooled storage for at least one half liter bottles would be a nice option, but that is never mentioned. Mr. Watson is crossing the Sahara desert with 250 liter bottles of water, just in case. only to find out that after only 200 miles he can't charge his ev anywhere.

I know that for UK is not relevant, but does anybody know how much costs to add 3 phase 11kW onboard charger
Where I live 25A 3 phase service is a standard and, even 3kW is max you can have single phase with out tripping the main breaker. I charge my Renault Zoe 41kWh at 3 phase 10A, which is about 5. 5kW of input power (Zoe has a lot of reactive power, and it gets charged in 8 hours if the battery is empty. And I drive it a lot, sometimes over 200km in a day. With 3kW I would need 15 hours for a full charge.

Typical European made car, without any surprises or innovations which generates enthusiasm for users. However; I had a citroen and a fiat once and will not buy one of these brands again. Can't understand why the engineers are not using the easy possibilities given by an EV platform; e. g. to have a complete flat bed-surface when folding the seats, etc. Boring and old fashion, even as EV.

For the smallest useable battery of 29. 2kWh, it’s winter range is less than most petrol/diesel city cars can manage on one gallon. So it’s a shopping cart with seats. But then a lot of city or small town drivers, travel approx. 20mi a day. So a two-way trip of 50mi is doable even in sub zero temps.

I like of a lot of people, don’t have a drive and there is rather a shortage of charging stations in my town, so I don’t see myself ever getting an ev, I understand the whole mission of getting everyone to drive these cars, but the infrastructure in the UK has a very long way to go to fully support everyone

I know Carwow is in the UK and, I'm here in the states, but for me, Carwow has kind of fallen off. All we ever see are these tiny, electric vehicles anymore and honestly, I just couldn't give a f. Sorry Matt, you entertained me for a bit, but I think this is where I press the unsub button

Are you seriously suggesting this is in any way worthy of comparison to a Rolls Royce Spectre That’s a car that has been criticised for being overly quiet and refined - a remark that Mercedes/Bentley etc can only dream of, and you’re bringing Citroen into the conversation

I think it is absolutely crazy that you had to point out that theres a button to turn off the speed limit warning. Why cant all the manufacturer be like this Nice job Citroen! Seems like this is hard to do that. Really cool car!

Prediction: the glovebox on RHD versions will be less than half the size of this one, since PSA have never bothered their ar53s doing proper conversions and leave things like the fusebox and bonnet mechanisms on the nearside.

I’ve owned & driven a few 3 cylinder cars, I actually like the noise they make, it more interesting than a normal 4 cylinder, I’m a big fan of the C3, this version & the last were great cars

Looks good all things considered but I hate the external appearance the side view just looks truncated as if something has hit it up the back. But all told it does seem sound, for what it is!

Matt didn't mention that this car has LFP-chemistry batteries. Meaning: good for 300k miles, probably!
(However: LFPs charge really slow in the wintertime, so winter holiday travellers beware)

A great deal for an EV, comfy, quirky, even kinda normal looking. But it's still a Stellantis product so at some point in its life would ravage your wallet with something going very wrong.

Citroen fell off. Sad to see - it was one of my favourite car brands back in the days. Especially loved the 1st gen Citroen C4. The 2nd gen was also good. Now, it’s just all SUV’s. Horrible.
