The Ford Edge is an all-American SUV that's recently gone on sale in the UK for the very first time. It's huge and rivals cars such as the Jaguar F-Pace and Land Rover Discovery Sport - but can it outdo both cars in terms of value for money? There's no doubting the Ford Edge has incredible road presence and bold looks, but does its interior suffer from quantity over quality? There's a lot of room in there, but is it all a bit low-tech? Find out as I share all my thoughts on the Ford Edge in this 4k video review

I have a 2016 eco boost 2 ltr Edge, its giving a squeaky noise when driven. The squeaky noise is intermittent. I have taken it to the dealership at least 5 times and they have not been able to find the cause nor the area from where it-s coming. They say they cannot do anything about it and gave the car to me. I really feel bad about this experience and inefficiency. The squeaky sound takes away the driving pleasure. Is there any way to fix this?

its funny how Europeans call certain cars huge but here in the states they are small or just mid-sized. the Escape might be better for Europeans because it is smaller than the Edge. and the Explorer is bigger than the Edge so he might consider that one gigantic and if he ever saw our Expedition or the Expedition EX-L SUV he would loose his mind how large it was. lol Most of us American's like room in our cars.

Well in CH you get one for 29000 and it bearly made any 12k KM where a Range Rover even the lowest one costs about 48000 and a Merc GLE you can't get under 78000 with the same year and optionals, i'm gonna get my self one next year and prob tune it up from the standart 210hp/400nm to 290hp and 500nm for less than 1k so it goes from 0-100 at least in 7, 9sec instead of 9, 6sec

The things at the back of the car labeled L and R are marked as such so if you remove them it'll be easy to figure out which goes where. They're both kind of shaped similarly so people might get confused. But that it's really hard though because you'd have to be pretty dumb not to figure it out quickly, but still, it's a nice touch.

I have it and every day I discover new hidden features. Do you know that you can program 3rd key directly with the help of car? Or do you know you can start the engine with the dead battery of the key? Do you know holding unlock button long enough makes down all the windows?

This is a rip-off in the UK! Pricing here in the US starts at the equivalent of 21, 000 pounds. At 33k, you should be getting a loaded sport model!
This a a high volume seller in the US, but certainly not worth Land Rover money. Why did Ford even bother?

My issue with a car this size is parking. Kuga is perfect size but a tad small for seats up boot space. Edge looks like a good upgrade but size should have always live sensors all round and rear parking camera. Over 30mpg is good for any SUV near 2 tons.

Hey Matt, in this video you show your GPS position which I swear is somewhere very near my flat in Yiewsley. In another video, you showed that you were actually staying in a hotel right next to my house in France (just behind my fence. spooky!

After 10 months of using the new FORD EDGE I-ve got a lot of problems with it such as strange sound comes from the engine, computer problems, fuel gage getting stuck some time. etc. it was the worst choice I ever made in 2017!

Awesome car, still bad value for money, in Europe at least. Cheap materials and quite a serious problem with rear headlights which get condensed. Also, there-s a traction control computer error tha pops up from time to time.
