New Audi A4 & S4 2020 - OMG! Have they gone and cocked them up?

Audi has lost its way. They were evolutionary in styling and build quality 15 years ago. Now boring and looks the same and dare I say the front reminds me of an Hyundai i30. All the styling cues like dynamic tail lights and headlights and new engines and tech still can't bring it to what it once was. Who'd buy this over a 3 series, or even the ES? Not sure, I wouldn't even dream about it. The last gen SQ5 was awesome, efficient and sounded great. The RS3 is a great looking, fast and overall great car. But the SQ5 replacement is crap as will be the next RS3, S3 and S3. The A1 is no better than a Polo. They drive the same, and look so similar, why buy the A1, it's a cheap car and it shows. Audi is behind and don't think they'll ever catch up. Even their Virtual Cockpit is behind all the others. Sad, but another company that is no longer the powerhouse it once was. The S4s engine is the one they should have kept in the SQ5, it made sense in a mid SUV, not in an S4.

Was really hoping this would get the a6 interior with the two touch screen. Other than the larger centre screen it-s exactly the same as my 2018. Shame. The mid life update has just been released and now this comes out. You-ll be annoyed. Anyway, I was going to get another a4 black edition avant like my 2018. But this really isn-t a new ground breaking design. Think I-ll save my money and get that Alfa159 I always wanted for a few grand instead

I'm totally disappointed with the S4 and A4-sline exterior styling, they made the sline looks exactly like the S model! Plus fake intakes, fake exhaust on S model! And since when we get a honeycomb grille on S and sline! Honeycomb is only for RS models! They messed up the entire lineup including the upcoming RS4 coz I won't be surprised that the rs4 will have the same exact grille plus fake intakes.

Big Audi fan here. so they decided to make it nearly impossible to love their brand starting from 2020? Who exactly is this - - -new amazing- - - chief designer? They should get on their knees and beg previous designer to come back whilst throwing at him all the cash that they can get! F-%& thats just painful to look at!

Hmm. was planning to get a new A4 TFSI for 2020, but after seeing this, the new Passat has suddenly become a much better-looking option. Audi, what were you thinking of? You've made a terrible mess of the poor A4 - the front is hideous and the MMI wheel was so nice to use. You've taken a big step backward here, I'm afraid.

Watching this review on the infotainment system makes me wonder. If Android, Apple or any other successful phone/tablet based operating systems could calibrate with car manufacturers to develop more fluid and refined infotainment. booth functionaly and aesthetically in line with the rest of the interior elements.

I own the current version, this update is a bit of mess, with the disjointed lines down the side of the car. Removing the MMI wheel, which is really useful to use when one's driving, wasn't a smart move either. Hopefully the completely new version isn't to far off and this Frankenstein version is short lived.

I actually like the design of this and like Audi's new 2020 models as they are much sharper, detailed and more interesting, the current lineup are so BLAND and old looking ESPECIALLY the interiors. However DIESEL engines in their S/RS cars and glossy fingerprint magnet screen I don't like.

Well I-m glad I-ll be hanging on to my V6 petrol for a while still, hopefully this means the depreciation might not be as bad after all (lol)
Diesel. they can-t pass the emissions test on the petrol after the mess in 2017/2018, so they took the easy option it seems.

Is it just me that thinks the starting price of all cars now are beyond a joke? I know Audi in general aren't basic cars, but even the bottom of the range models you literally need a loan or finance them unless you've got a large sum of money in the bank.
