I am really excited about the electric vehicle revolution with all the goodies that it brings to the experience of driving a car (not so thrilled about the fully self driving cars since I love to drive. But what scares me is the fact that I will probably never be able to afford these cars. And I'm not referring to this particular Mercedes. Hell, I would be able to scrap a few grand to buy a used EV in 2030. The real financial problem of owning an EV for a middle to lower income driver will be the price of ownership. Servicing a car filled with dozens of high tech safety and comfort systems that are electronically based will be a nightmare. A few years ago a mid class car didn't have millions of sensors, cameras, software, popping door handles, lidars, radars, huge screens, self driving technology, etc, etc. All these systems came with the higher end cars and a guy could buy a relatively good used car for 10 000$, and manage to run and service it. But in 10 or 20 years even the cheapest cars will have all of the above mentioned systems, and then some. Part of it are security systems that the manufacturers will be forced to install in every car. So not only that the cars will again become more expensive to buy new, they will be incredibly expensive to repair if any one of those high tech systems dies on you, and we all know that these systems aren't repaired, they are replaced. A brave new world is coming in which computer programers, doctors and a few more occupations will enjoy in, while the rest of us will take the self driving bus. Thank you progress.

Norway has an incredibly intelligent people running their country. Their far sight long term policies are counter intuitive in this moment, but have shown to be extremely efficient and positive. Norway has an enormous amount of oil reserves, but they also have the most expensive price of fuel in the world. This is completely opposite to all other oil rich countries that sell petrol at the price of few cents per liter. Venezuela, S Arabia and Qatar are some of the more famous examples. But what Norway has done with its huge profits from the sale of crude oil is incredible, well at least for the people holding Norwegian citizenship. All the extra profit from the oil goes to the government fond whose proceeds belong to the Norwegian people. I'm not certain at which point a person can claim their share of the fond and collect money from it but I know that the amount for every Norwegian is enormous. A few hundred thousands of euros (or kronas, whatever the currency in Norway is. Brilliant. I want to marry me one tall blonde Norwegian 20 something with firm tits, round ass and a smile to die for.

The only reason most of norwegians buy electric cars is to save money, bills are expensive and so are toll. That makes enviorment organizations think that we are in love with the electric car consept. But the goverment sure has lowered the emissions. I'm just waiting for Bio fuel to hit the public marked and petrolstations so we car enthusiasts can drive with our diesel and petrol cars instead of ending up taking them to a car lot where they will be smashed as flat as possible

I know I'm really late with this but the experienced bottleneck while charging was due to the fact, that the used charger is only capable of 150kW/h if only one car is connected and wasn't caused by the temperature of the Battery. If two cars are connected like shown in the video the charging speed is cut in half what is seen by the around 75 kW/h.

I-m not even a tesla fan and see Tesla is way ahead in technology. Dont even try to flash a Mercedes because its old news nor a status symbol in this new generation of technology. Mercedes had their crown with internal combustion engines, now its hybrid and electric. Let go of the past and accept the future. Its a new generation now. -

Another great review from Mr CarWow. The EQC400 is a winning all electric. Best design and functionality. Give it 5 more years and then I-ll invest. Battery technology needs to improve. Range is currently too short, which means plenty of time getting fat on too many cappacino-s and muffins at charging stations while reading eBooks.

Took it out for a test drive. It's a very nice car interior wise, but for me the suspension is way too soft. In corners or roundabouts it felt like the car was tipping over, even when driving super slow. Not sure you can offer that sort of driving experience for premium price.

Astept parerea voastra.

Why doesn-t any car reviewer mention the fact that if you look at the driver and passenger door you can clearly see from the outside the interior panel is about 5cm taller than the exterior. It-s hard to tell in this video but this bothered me a lot when driving with this car.
