Yes, the review does seem very biased against the CRV, but he makes some valid points, infotainment
lagging behind euro designs, poorish fuel economy and quirky rear seat folding. Overall, though, this is probably one of the best built SUVs out there, long term. In a test like this, you can-t tell that, though. In the haste to rid the world of the so called unpopularity of diesels, the world seems to be producing seemingly inefficient turbo petrols. An up to date 1. 6idtec would have been much better for this car, but the public can-t have them. Nothing against the super popular VAG group cars that are so popular here in Europe and the UK, these Hondas will outlast them in virtually every way, from reliability in the engines, electrics, gearboxes, to the shut lines in the doors and hatches, to the lack of squeaky interiors and yes, to even corrosion resistance, they-re just so well built, I-m amazed more don-t sell in the UK, and they do still sell well. If I was in the market for an SUV and I wanted it to last for 10 years, I wouldn-t consider anything but a Honda CRV. If you watch any US videos of this type of vehicle, they often don-t even consider VAG designs, due to their lack of popularity. We seem to get better choice than most countries, but at what cost? just more unreliable cars!

Its been a week and I really enjoy it. Mine is a 2. 4l petrol ex model. Just a bliss to drive and i dont have any issue with the acceleration. Its fast enough unlike what these reviewers say. Very spacious which is a well known fact. Infotainment is good, not as bad as it was portrayed. Interiors are plush and seats are comfortable. Exhaust could have been designed well and infotainment should have lesser bezel. I don't find any other drawbacks as of now and its not only a family car, but a sporty car with good sports mode and paddle shifters which works surprisingly good and this was not mentioned by any of the reviewers. Its just the best and go for it, if you are confused whether to go or not. You won't regret!

I hate how this guy trashes these review cars. Why did he have to splash that open bottle of water around! And why the hell does he always remove the back thing and throws it to the ground breaking the stuff? Does he pay for the damages done? If i had to buy a car from the area matt does the reviews i wouldnt want to buy a car he reviewed unless they give a Matt damages discount on it. He really likes to throw those back covering things!

I love his other videos and after watching many of them, I have finally decided he doesn't really -Review- Japanese cars, he just describes how awful they are. If you're looking to buy a Japanese Car check out other reviewer's videos instead of his. Japanese cars are tough and durable and thus the most popular in South Asian Countries like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka etc

Still driving my 2008 CRV - 160k on the clock. Just sailed through the MOT with NO ADVISORIES. Who could ask for more! Your whinging on the Mk3 review about the cars hard plastic interior means that at 13 years old it still looks good. Mods that Ive done are - Subwoofer - Android stereo - LEDed almost all the lamps. Sorry mate - I think this review is very poor!

Honda crv is the number one family car of ALL THE TIMES
Best seller SUV since 2007
So you can-t be honest with a car that costs 50 thousands (the executive model ) AND HAVE THINGS THAT MERCEDES and bmw costing 100k
I have the executive 2007 model and it hasn-t EVER BROKE DOWN with 235. 000 km

Let's be honest guys, you better of with a Peugeot 5008, Renault, Citroen. For this tag price they are far better in terms of quality, the looks, interior, tech. My 5008 is way better than this for 25000-. I got for this price keyless, better gps, lane-assist, which this car doesn't have, and other good tech too!

I have been looking for a full electric suv with a boot the size of this (height aswell as depth) and I'm struggling. Dont want 7 seater but prefer 5 and the hybrid would be a good compromise. Any other suggestions with a boot very similar to this in hybrid or electric? Or is this a great option?

I understand why he so biased and hate on Japanese cars. Lol those Japanese companies refuse to share their cars and sponsor his video. But you still don't have to be a crybaby and spew hate just for that. He's just exaggerating on everything in this review

I have gotten Honda CRV EX 2020 Hybrid Petrol, 5 seater; upgraded from Honda HRV S 2017 Petrol. Amazing very good car. Lovely to drive; amazing to live with. Why couldn-t CarWow do a 5 seater review? Maybe didn-t have availability.
