The all-new Range Rover Velar is said to be Land Rover's most road-focussed car yet. Handsome styling and a gorgeous interior are sure to find many fans, but can it compete with the best alternatives. And crucially does the Velar still feel like a Range Rover should? Find out by joining me for my full, in-depth review

For anyone looking for an honest review. I-ve had mine a little while, had some issues but its by far the best car I-ve had and the land rover team are great when you have the small issues (door handler not full retracted, time crackling noise on stereo and rear door didn-t open on a couple of occasions) I would fully recommend and it looks super cool on the road

I'll really want to own a range rover just once but I can't justify the cost.
My Mercedes E class does all that and more and my defender is one of the best off road vehicles ever. I'd rather have one vehicle that did both but the GLE or GLS are the closest solutions. My friend's Range rover is just soo nice to drive.

So I am thinking about bying a 2018 Velar with about 80k km. Its a beautiful car but I have heard a lot of talk about how faulty these cars (land rovers in general) are. Cant really find any people who actually own one and can tell me a personal experience. What about someone here? If not Velar, we are thinking VW Touareg or MB GLE.

Question for those who own a Velar:
Do you have problems with your front headlights?
My parents bought one last summer but the headlights are apparantly way too bright at night as my mom drives it to and from work but she gets warning signals every time from opposite drivers because they think that the big lights are on

You should start review about reliability and not door bins and only practicality. Its been long since you started reviews. Now its time to upgrade and know about reliability and cost maintenances. That would be proffesional for you. We all know about practicality its that simple. Cheers

Cheap plastics on the lower part is exactly wat I want as these are the areas likely to be kicked or abused with dirty shoes, hit by bottles and things getting rammed in the door pockets etc, rather a robust plastic getting hit with dirty shoes etc than expensive posh leather.

don't you think the car industry should upgrade the wiggly century old 12V socket which was ment to be for a cigarette lightener. Also, you never talk about the horn, could the industry make more of it maybe more special sound or let instead the lights all flash?

-This is the SUV you'll want if you want to look stylish- For groupies like you, maybe lol. It's a horrid car to drive, they still can't fix their buggy screens and even now they can't do their alignments properly XD (just look -0: 17)

One thing man great review / but do you have to be so ruff with everything you touch and grab / you throw things to the grown 5: 00 min in / have some respect for a car someone gunna spend a lot of money on after ur review. word.

It-s very zippy compared to other land rovers I have been driving my Discovery. Recently got the velar, and I hafta say I prefer the discovery. But, the velar is good if the discovery is not available (kids, husband/wife.
