I guess nobody will read this, but yeah, Suzuki Swift is the car to compare with the other two. And that would be interesting, actually, especially considering Swift also comes in 4x4 flavour.
While Ignis is great (I'm actually eying one, but, if you take the front wheel drive and don't require additional cross country capacity, it loses its point completely, imho. Suddenly the same aforementioned Swift seems much better, not to mention at least a dozen of other options from other manufacturers. That's why in some countries Ignis is offered only as a 4x4 without the front wheel drive option. Swift, however, pretty much everywhere is offered etiher front wheel, or four wheel drive.
And, btw, the Ignis infotainment system shown here wasn't actually installed in cars sold in Europe, or at least it isn't now. The system they use looks much slicker, but lacks a CD player, so I doubt it's actually better than the -old fashioned- Pioneer set used in this review model.

I own an Ingis. Great car but, costs you another $(AU)500 for a second fully functional key, and it reads fuel consumption in km/l not l/100km the measure used in the Australian market. The smallest Nissan you can get here is a Juke, the base Citroen is $(AU)7, 000 more than the base Ingis. Driving it 600 km (Sydney - Goulburn and return) at 110 km/h on the motorway in two days so I will find out how it performs in the bush as well as in town.

and coming back to the review, i don't think it is that fair. Suzuki is a low cost car from Japan, Micra and the C3 are not low cost cars. and are not made only for the city.

You can get a Renault Clio which shares the same platform and engines with Nissan for much less, even it is not so good looking from outside/inside. If you want to get this fancy Bose version, be prepared for the cost. you will think you are buying an Audi. But I agree that it the best car from the three, yet worst value/price option.

The Micra is a very mediocre car sloppy made by those Renault amateurs with a Suzuki level from the 90s. Do not buy it no matter what. It has Dacia plastics, far too expensive, noisy and yes badly constructed. Buy a Ford Fiesta or any other alternative. This sorry excuse for a automonile is a cheap car that is vastly overrated.

The Micra is an genuinly good car, and Even though you lack a armrest up front, but it's by far one of the greatest cars ive ever driven. I have a bad back and the micra copes with that brilliantly, i often find myself choosing the micra over a New Skoda Kodiaq that we also own, simply because the micra is a better ride

I got the Micra (petrol) as a rental car in Mallorca. The car looks very nice and the interior was fine for me (we were 4 people. However, on the twisty roads the car felt horribly underpowered and the worst was the gearbox (really really bad and very difficult sometimes to get into the reverse gear)

I like the the ignis and c3 they dare to be different and have the most character, the micra just looks like a generic vehicle ala Ford Fiesta (boring. Still I would side with the ignis overall because of the elevated driving position, the off road capability and Suzuki reliability-

Sometimes car makers flatter you with soft touch plastics to deceive you with cheap, unreliable mechanicals underneath. Hard plastic loving Suzuki is tops in reliability surveys while vw, ford, nissan, audi, mazda ( champions of great plastics) lag far, far behind in such surveys.

My mum just bought a Ignis today. Reliability and space for passengers the most important things for us. And we really like the model.
But why don't the back doors open that far? I've seen another review and the doors opened almost 90 degrees?
