First off, it would be only natural for an electric-powered car to get an instant burst of speed, to this end dodge vipers with their electric starters used to be faster initially than regular cars, now we have Tesla which is fully electric. So, it is not surprising that it would have a momentary advantage at the beginning but the Aventador will beat it eventually because it has a higher top speed, so the Tesla is not even in its league unless Tesla comes up with a supercar of its own in the near future.
