I've just got one of these as a courtesy car and it's not particular nice. I think it's an entry level (Zetec) because it does have things such as auto headlights, keyless entry, climate control etc but that aside the materials are cheap. Very cheap. Anything soft is that horrible rubber type material and anything plastic is very thin. This thing is going to rattle soon. The 1. 5 litre petrol engine is very rough and loud under acceleration. Suspension is ok, soft enough for our roads but not very good handling.

When you open the rear door water pours from the top sill into the rear of the car and all over the seats. Poor design.

Some of the criticisms are way too harsh. I think a lot of the reviews about the drive of the car are based off the ST line model. I have just bought a 68 place Kuga (Titanium, 1. 5 diesel. It drives smoothly on 17 inch wheels with no sporty suspension.
The Infotainment systems has all you need in a modern car. Agree that the way they have sat it in the dashboard is odd and annoying.
Its a huge car, and plenty of room in the back seats. The boot floor can also be raised to flatten it out! Poor reporting!
Important to note that I have replaced an Alfa Romeo Giulietta with the Kuga. Quite a difference!

Have a 180st line awd and it's fantastic, mud flaps as with all cars stop the crap under the doors, yes rear bumper gets mucky but don't they all? Economy for the power is great, tows fantastic, comfy, plenty room in the boot. Yes ours has sporty suspension but doesn't roll like the titanium which is slightly softer and higher which are all described in the bumf you get at dealers so it's down to choice. I agree with the screen moan, the bottom buttons are a pain but let's face it you shouldn't be messing about while on the move anyway. Towing mpg 27mpg and I don't hang about, solo 45 can be achieved.

Thwas some weird negativity there with the criticism. The detachable cover at the back has always been useful to separate passengers from seeing the back and being detachable to store at home if you prefer not to have it is a nice addition, but that was turned into negativity and there is nothing new there, most cars do this, I mean where else do you -store- the cover, other than put it on or leave it at home. The car doors seem to be built trying to avoid sound or cold getting in. Rainy day caused him to get annoyed his jeans got wet leaning over, jeez. Usually this guy isn't this bad.

Although the cars interior build quality is both low and outdated, the bit of the video about how impractical the boot becomes when you fold down the rear seat. Maybe Matt mentioned details of the extended boot space in another video but since this video is the one to be watched by majority of the people, i found him quite biased towards the car since he completely ignored the rear seat mechanism and didnt show the pieces they fitted so that you can slide things from the boot. I mean he sometimes acts biased but this was the most obvious

It's funny really when ever i think about getting a different car. I always see what you have to say about what I'm thinking about getting. and twice now I'm so glad i never really took on board anything negative you have to say. last car Peugeot 2008 diesel lovely car never let me down in three years. Today took ownership of a 18 plate 1. 5 ford Kuga titanium tdci. and i have to say. I LOVE IT.

I'd say avoid it. my boss had one in his fleet I was using it as a taxi. I didn't like it at all. interior and driving very bad. good looking car though. I would go for the Peugeot 2008 3008 we have in the fleet a bunch of them with 500k km 310k miles and the cars been hit crashed and they are still going strong. Kia very reliable Hyundai as well Vauxhall boring and not very reliable

Matt we enjoy your videos and we own a Kuga which we enjoy looking to upgrade in the future and from your videos notice that full independent or active suspension is now an option on many of the Kuga s competitors
Worth a mention in your video is that many folk buy SUVs because of the condition of the UK roads Us older folk enjoy the higher seating position and easy access too.

Spoken with many who own this Kuga (I drive an estate) and they been delighted with it, especially with how it drives plus tows compared to other makes SUV-s they had before, especially VW so don-t understand the huge negativity throughout the review? - Are you in someone-s pocket and out to damage their competitors vehicles sales?

Once again, like every other reviewer you've mistaken -cheap/hard- plastic for necessary and durable plastic. It's no good having that soft feel stuff down around your feet or where your hands are always touching (around gear lever & Console) as it would get destroyed and you can't clean it as easily.
