Found this review to be totally biased in many ways. I-ve owned both German cars and currently have a Kia Stinger GT1 so I can-t comment on the 2. 0 Turbo. Is the car perfect - no but as an overall grand touring it-s a wonderful package. It-s quick, refined, stable, comfortable and very practical. The warranty is first class and I-m not having to pay BMW / Audi parts/labor. It-s also rare and also a great looking vehicle. One of the greatest things is it feels special and unique. Some owners of the Stinger who use them as daily-s love them and they own brand new BMW M6, M5 etc. I-m the first to say I was a brand snob that when ever I would get a rental car (which was often) would take anything just don-t give me a Kia. This car doesn-t drive, feel or look like a Kia but more German. Just in the same way Skoda went from being laughable brand and now considered a reputable brand when brought out by VW. Kia are not the cars that they were 10 years ago. I purchased my Stinger with low miles and couldn-t be happier. If your a car enthusiast, enjoy driving and want a sporty car that is German engineered at a fraction of the cost then the Stinger should be on your list. Better reviews of the Stinger you can find on Carfection, Doug Demuro and google Jeremy Clarkson review on Stinger and Evo Car Magazine. In a market that is saturated with SUV, drag races where we know Tesla is King (until you get to 120mph) - the Stinger is a breath of fresh air. Thanks Kia for having the balls to actually risk a lot and bring the concept of the Stinger to reality.

It is better then a BMW or AUDI or german car that is within 15k of it. I have a 2020 AWD Stinger and the closest Audi that competes in performance is a 65k S3--for BMW it is M2 and M4--M2 is close to 60k--M4 are 75k--BTW the stinger is faster then an M2 and within a hair of the other 2. BMW and many mercedes are also RWD--I have AWD on mine with a TT 3. 3 and I paid 36k--in fact except for lower end american muscle cars--there is not much close to it for the performance--the warranty is just icing. The stinger feels like a Honda Type R and M6 had an AWD kid--it is tight and the buttons are like a hOnda along with the interior--but it handles flat and good like a bimmer. The AWD system is also more sporty then base AUDIS--and similiar to the S3. In fact I looked at AUDI and bImmers--these were 2020 models and only thing that was 36k were the small SUVs like a Q3 and that small one from bmw that had like 200HP. The prices on the german cars made me gasped--and I had a 50k budget--to get the performance I would have had to buy a used german car with less then half the warranty. The KIA is also big like a Bimmer m6 and a great stable cruiser.

German quality? Mercedes and Audi reliability is bellow mediocre at best, BMW slightly better but not brilliant. Kia and Hyundai are industry leaders for overall reliability, squishy plastics do raise the ambience or percieved quality but to be honest do not improve electrical or mechanical reliability where I have heard Merc and Audi are atrocious. Strange how nobody talks of the poor reliability of many German brands and models which has been apparent for quite some time. German cars are well designed and their sport saloons are excellent driving machines, but reliability is not great and its about time motoring journalists started to challenge them like they challenge Jaguar/Land Rover for iffy reliability.

This is a German mistake actually.
We need a car not a plastic rubber. We know the price is fabulous, but it is really rubbish cheep plastic assembly. BMW and Mercedes has a quality plastic and materials plus engineering performance. Kia life is short after 5 years you will get lots of problems. Because, it is not a just design of body or Shane -. Quality first, safety and security, comfortable and price of curse. Thanks
In my 4 year experience, Kia rubbish customer service and support in UK.

This guy gets paid by German car manufacturers I can tell! He talks about quality and sophistication! Is this why German cars nobody wants to buy after warranty? German cars price goes down 60% in first 2 years alone. After warranty you have to pay a lot and frequent to get it repaired. Kia, Toyata, Hyundai cars are reliable and for me that's called good quality and sophistication. Not scam German cars made to drain your pocket.

Is it me or does every car reviewer just compliment each car even though it-s crap? They don-t fully explain all the details. How easy is the radio to navigate through stations how is the quality. How good is the engine? How-s the reliability? Does it have things similar to other cars? Etc.

I dont know why people dislike KIA so much. I had 3 KIA's during my lifetime and it never had any problems and that 7 year warranty is amazing. I had the old first gen Kia Sportage then I changed to the second gen and I gave that car away to my girlfriend and bought a Sorento. So far no problem

I-ll keep my 2008 Volkswagen Passat Kormfort. Thank very much! The Kias are much better made but they are still cheaply made for the money that you pay. 40k for this? No no no. Buy a Tesla model 3 or if you want a gas car buy a Audi or Volkswagen Arteon the build quality is much better!

We understand that the Kia is still looking up to the German brands with respect to interior quality, and composure but for a comparably equipped model the Stinger is miles more affordable. Do you find that the Stinger is a good value in that class for what it is?

One of the worst, biased and scripted reviews I have ever seen. Basically he got paid by BMW and audi to review this car and talk about theirs. love the part where grabbed the biggest bottle then try and fit in to that basic bottle holder. Your acting skills sucks mate.
