Alright mat Watson great story telling and good cinematography and I can see where you went off script but nobody else can see it. Remember in my country of South Africa we do have some old cars but we normally race new new new not new new old because we know what will happened in the end result. Also the time you were racing 16: 02 remember in the norther hemisphere GMT the earth is still rotating so if your race was in the morning you could of made a difference but who ami to tell hit a humble South African alright? Your clothes in this episode were ok and I liked your face more than some other movies so well done to you. A day without your video is like a day without water when they are doing repairs and they shut the water off for the day and then you have to use water from the swimming pool to fill the toilets or go to your friends house to shower but the problem is mistermichel lives in dinokong but he does have the boerhole water so you don-t know what to do. Thank you for your movie and please remember to come to my house when there is water. Blessings abound.

Ok, so 20 years of evolution gave 0, 5 seconds on the quarter and a 2 body-s better braking distance, c-mon. And the other thing is, let-s see those -new- cars in 10 years, if they will survive even. You can build both cars but the d2 compared to the new one still wins by 20 years of proven hard work and reliability.

Is no one going to mention how quick the A8 was? It may sound like a transit but 13. 6 for a huge luxury diesel saloon with -only- 286hp. A DE 350z has 286hp and it's slower and that's a sports car.
Although watching the video again there was a huge gap between the s3 and the a8 and somehow only 0. 4sec difference?

Even though it lost all 3 challenges, I think the s8 would have definitely won a reliability challenge considering it has 155k on it and still does pretty well for a 20 year old car and the other ones probably won-t make it to 100k without some sort of electrical or drivetrain failure. I would take the s8 based on that

The S8 stands at -1750kg kerb weight, and has 360bhp from 1999 on (incorrectly stated as 340) - it should have done a lot better here with those numbers. I just acquired one back that I owned a number of years ago and it isn't as potent as it was when I previously owned it. So I doubt this was a fair comparison.

Goes to really show that the old is just that. old. There are, of course, people who like the old look of the cars, but then again it is just due to the fact that they are not able to afford the new models. Many people claiming that old is better. well it's not in any way

I 100% new the result before starting because I had a stage2+ cupra and I know how the 2. 0 tfsi pulls and currently I have an A5 240hp 3. 0 tdi and it also pulls strong, definitely stronger than an old aspirated V8. But engine sound-wise, the V8 is music.

I had this S8 340hp in 2004. It was a beautiful car but the performance and engine was not good. I bought (leasing: ) the S8, because it looked much better than the 7 from BMW or the S-Class from Mercedes.
