This is the all-new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray! It-s the latest edition of America-s most famous sports car, and for the first time, it-s gone mid-engined! It arrives with the most powerful engine fitted to an entry-level Corvette, with a 6. 2-litre V8 producing 495hp! The question is, with power that's similar to a Ferrari 458, and a starting price of $60, 000, which would you choose! Join Mat for his latest Top 10 to find out!

Ming lol no. no one whos ordering a ferrari or lamborghini or a bugatti or keonisegg or a mclaren. will cancel there order for this. u clearly no nothing of cars. everyone can afford this making it un speical and by 2021 /2021 the vale of this car will be in the 40k range mean while the ferraris and lamborghini will only go up in value because of how rare and low amount of models they make. this car is just like the nissan gtr it beats many suprr cars but a person making millions a year whould rather get a ferrari because of how rare and $ it is. not to mention u could by a huracan tune and turbo it and it could run low 2. 3s 0-60 if that mattrrs to u while still being a -lamborghini- caugh caugh audi. and still rext this while getting more attention

For all the haters that complain about built quality, please hold your comments until you actually sit in one. Furthermore, this is one car that a lot of us can afford to buy and actually maintain it. You can also drive it to 100, 000 miles as to a Ferrari or Lamboghini without having to spend tens of thousands of dollars just on routine maintenance. Corvette oil change is $120. Ferrari is $1000 and Lamborghini is $2000. Well, I could say I can't afford a Ferrari or Lamborghini, but I can walk into a dealership to buy a Corvette now! Put that in perspective.

Very nice to see the corvette go full supercar with it's mid engine and fitting body work. I like this, although i would have prefered a smaller v8 engine with forced induction. Would be more interesting for european market. 6200cc would be very expensive to drive around in my country. You got to love the global warming scam to increase prices drasticly and push more eco laws while ministers drive around in gas guzzling monsters. Kapitalisme what a joy.

I-ll take the -old- Ferrari. I-m still struggling with the styling of the mid-engined Vette. The front is too blunt. It looks like it had a nose job. It lacks the sleek contours of the old 458. Too many creases and folds and fussy doo-dads on the C8. The more I see the new Vette the more I appreciate the styling and proportions of the -old- C7 in ZO6 trim. THAT was a good looking vehicle!

I could afford a 458 and be honest i like the c8 more. Before the c8 was revealed i liked the huracan, 458, and masrati alferi but when the c8 came out i was sold. Better looking interior design the, technology of 12 driver modes. And better looking in terms of exotic and i think the artic white does this car justice the most. I do hate the z51 spoiler but not stuck with it.

The interior and stitching doesnt look cheap, it looks very detailed. With that said, its a steal for this kind of base supercar that goes 0-60 under 3 sec. and its talk that its awd. I-m already putting in for mine. not gonna wait for the zr1 or zo6, or even a possible grand sport. I can add mods to the LT2 engine myself -

Really, nobody is gonna acknowledge the power or the lack of it. 495hp from 6. 2 l. just ridiculous, that Ferrari 458 had 562hp from 4. 5 l. and it came out 10 years ago. More realistically it should be compared to the F430 and considering the new Ferrari F8 will have 710hp, I'm not surprised the Corvette is so cheap.

Design doesn't really match the performance in my eyes. It's certainly not ugly but it it misses supercar wow effect. Maybe because front looks quite narrow and not wide like other super cars. Similar lack of wow effect like new NSX. I hope it's better looking in person.

it's a legend already and no one has their hands on it. i've never seen so many videos about any new car! will it perform, sure. it will walk circles around any british car at its price point, hands down. likewise for the germans! don't be jealous, just embrace it!

It being affordable doesn't matter in Europe, you're looking at tens of thousands of road tax a year for its CO2. The taxes would be far more expensive than the car itself, you wouldn't see these on the road if they sold them for -9, 99
