Looks like we don't have it here in the USA. I'm so sad! It's not fair at all. I've been wanting a Touareg for ages and love this one! Not interested in the Tiguan or the Atlas. I think they look awful and lacking in utility compared to the Touareg, even older models! I don't know of any other SUV of this size with the towing capacity of a Touareg. I think I will keep waiting and maybe VW will release this in the states.

As a mk5 gti e30 and mk7r owner. its sad that vw are making a car with no pedigree in the form of the toerag the fasted vw. 10+ years of neglect, pathetic power hikes in the performance golf's even in the new mk8r mean they are already lagging competitors. this is an insulting video Matt. Come on vw just us a F-%KING GOLF RS NOW.

According to another reviewer, the plug in Hybrid model has a 7. 7 kwh charger and roughly 14 kwh usuable battery - (18 gross) so about 2 hrs to charge fully. and about 25 miles of Electric only range. 40 to 50 km which would be prefect for me if they brought this to Canada!

Why the hell are the Volkswagens in America Watered down and underpowered! The highest powered vehicle they have here is 276 hp Atlas! Every vehicle that has come out in the past few years has been detuned and tows only 5000 lbs! I see a Ford in my future. -

Great video. Loved the editing, it made it quick funny to watch, especially the theme from ferris buller lol. Lovely car looks great in that colour aswell. Scary about the price, but hey that's the car market nowadays.

There is no point having an R version without V8 twin turbo engine this R version should be around 500 -600 hp comparing Audi rsq8, porsche cayenne turbo or lambo urus otherwise the top spec regular Toureg version.

Love the meme and the edits: ) The car is irrelevant, with that price you should get a Jag I-Pace or Tesla Model X. Better performance, way less maintenance costs due to the complexity of a hybrid.
