As we all know, some manufacturers make really fast cars, while some make really slow cars. But have you ever wondered which manufacturer has the biggest difference between both their fastest and slowest cars? Well, even if you haven't, it's one we've been thinking about for a while - so we decided to make this video! We've looked at all major manufacturers out there, and we've painstakingly looked through the 0 - 62mph times for ALL of their production cars currently on sale to see where the biggest differences are. Now it's no surprise that supercar brands like Ferrari or Lamborghini show up early on in this list, given they only make fast cars, but can you guess which brands will appear in the top 3?

-carwow you're missing at least one car
Ford GT 2019-2022 does 0-62 in 2. 9sec. And it is available for order at least in the US. So that makes Ford's gap 11. 6sec.
I bet that chevy isn't far behind between the spark and the corvette. But since Chevy isn't really selling anymore in Europe, let's let that slide. I guess a lot US and Japan brands that do not sell in EU/UK aren't mentioned.

The Ford one was wrong, the mustang gt takes 4. 2 seconds, and if you count the gt500 variant, which you should considering the other brands on here, it would be 3. 3 seconds Giving the difference of either 10. 3 or 11. 2 between the slowest and fastest. Granted that's the us models, I'm not sure if they're that drastically different In the uk

Dont get exactly what and if any particular timeframe is being used for the comparisons. We all know for instance the fastest Mitsubishi ever can't be that weird SUV thingie, unless you mean -in current year of production-. Similar to almost all the rest. You see, if you don't qualify the timeframe, the video becomes a complete lie.

I-d have to argue against what Matt put for Ford. The 5. 0 Mustang isn-t the fastest car they have. If you allowed the Honda NSX, you can allow the new Ford GT, with a 0-60 time of 2. 9 seconds, to be on the list.

I really thought Nissan is gonna take the crown. But turns out you just can't buy a Nissan that's slow enough to secure the top spot--.
They should sell their version of the Clio. That'd be a difference

Is Alfa Stelvio QV really faster from 0-60 than the Giulia QV? That doesn't seem right. Anyway, the new Giulia GTAm is now the fastest accelerating Alfa Romeo in history.
reply

The fastest Porsche is the 918 Spyder, not the 911 Turbo S; and the fastest Ford is the Shelby GT500, not the Mustang GT
Where are Dodge and Chevrolet?

So when the Peugeot 308 does 0-100 in 6, 0secs, it's slow, but when the i30N does it 0, 1s slower, it's -fairly rapid-? Those are both hatchbacks.

Surely the vauxhall one is wrong because my corsa does 0-60 in 13. 90 and theres slower versions out there, am i missing something?
reply

I don't understand why 0-62 is used as a benchmark. Usually, you're accelerating from 0 to 30 or 30 to 70 or 40 to 60 etc.
