I'm not too much of a fan of the Taycan, in general. I like the concept, I like Porsches, even the Panamera, and I understand that this one is more practical than the normal one. But, does it rear end remind you of a VW Golf Scirocco (no bad thing, or not? From the side the rear looks great, but the front wings need dropping very slightly to give it more 'swoop', and from the rear, the window needs to be just slightly wider for proportionality. It's close to being a real looker, maybe it needs a tweak from an Italian to just finish it off? Of course, what does the wind tunnel say, that discounts my every word? (And rightly so.
As for the Plaid. Well, I think I'd have to drive and experience both to say, but the Porsche will probably be the one that's better finished, engineered and lasting. At a guess!

I want this car (but in black, dark green, or blue) more than my next breath. I love my B9 A5 Sportback, but a true wagon, full EV, Porsche would be the best everyday - only need one vehicle - environment friendly option I'd throw as much money as I can at in perpetuity. I no longer have a commute that's more than 8 miles round-trip, nearest family is 6 hours by flight, I'm not worried about the overall range, assuming I even paid for charging when parked up at work.

The reason your Vbox is having so much trouble tracking the 0-60 mph speeds is that the sound/heat insulated glass option tends to block a lot of RF, and other EM frequency signals, interfering with some mobiles, radar detectors, etc.
So it's probably messing up the box ability to detect GPS satellite signals and properly calculate your speeds from inside the car

Drove it till the tire fell off haha. Well done. You can really hear that auxiliary engine kick in. I wonder if Porsche sends out techs at night to refill the gas tank cause that isn't the way an electric motor sounds. Needs more range though to be great for weekend get away.

Porsche gas cars are amazing.
If were talking about a BEV. Tesla -model S plaid- all the way. Faster, Better battery management, more efficient and better charging network.
Only took a hundred years for electric cars to take back the market. -

Thanks for the verdict and rest Matt. The TAYCAN Sport Turismo was in my line of sight for the next car (in a Tesla Model 3 LR at present) and this has sealed my thoughts. Just hope Car Wow can indeed Wow when the time is right.

Comparing a Porsche Taycan Turbo S vs a Model S is like comparing the latest Leopard 2A7V German tank with the Chevrolet Spark! Yes the American car is more economical but obviously for a very specific reason!
