What state of charge was the Tesla? Below 90% SOC the Tesla won t perform as well. I did 0-60 mph in 3. 23 seconds without rollout and the 1/4 mile in 11. 43 seconds 117+ mph with 97% SOC last week in my 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance. I wish CarWow would test a Tesla with a nearly full battery for once and show the real potential of that car.

I really wish Matt would show the state of charge of the Tesla on all these drag races. The state of charge has a massive effect on the performance of the Tesla. It needs to be fully charged for all races. Needlessly warming tyres on a 4wd Tesla is just bleeding performance away from the battery just before the race.

Reality check the Tesla won the rolling race. It would have taken the lane of the Lambo way before the speed limit was reached. How many cars ever see a drag strip in reality?
Imagine joining a slip road from a roundabout side by side if the Lambo then wants to loose their license let em.

Love the drag race videos. Would have been fairer to run the Urus against the Model X Plaid though. So far no stock production cars can beat them in drag races only modified 1400HP variants.

Why not use a Model X which will be a SUV vs SUV. Also Model 3 Long Range is faster than performance after the initial launch, Long Range catches up as shown in your previous video.
