The new C5 X is a mix of a few different cars. It comes with a ride height similar to an SUV, a big estate-sized boot, along with the interior room & comfort of a saloon! So is it the right car for you? Let s take a look! It s got a pretty stylish exterior design, with Citroen s traditional upside-down headlight style along with a smart chrome strip across the front. Around the back, it s got some stylish wrap-around taillights coupled with a boot lip spoiler. We re not a big fan of the plastic bumper though. Thankfully, there s little to complain about on the inside. There are high-quality materials throughout, along with a big infotainment screen, digital dials and a whole lot of storage. The seats are also super comfortable, too! There s a choice of petrol engines available, with the range-topper being a plug-in hybrid which combined an electric motor with a 1. 6-litre turbo petrol engine to deliver 225hp. All models come with an automatic gearbox along with FWD.

In 1978 I was custodian of a new CX 2400 EFI Prestige and a RR SSII.
The Prestige was superior for both drivers & passengers plus reliability until the CX series I rust set in 5 years down the track. Fixed with Series II CX.
The Roller had that elusive WAFT factor, and could be quite sprightly and surprising nimble when punted quickly.
4 Prestiges for 1 RR.
The C5 X seems to have recaptured Citroen style and comfort.

Oh come on.
1: 48 Those are clearly not fake exhausts nor trying to be. Even during the day it is clear those are lights, especially during the night. Are they not allowed to use metal around it?
If thats the case, did you see those fake exhaust at the front around the fog lilghts? 9: 44 Outrageous!

Erm. Eames Lounge Chair aren't remotely French, they were designed by Americans and have been made by an American company since then, I really can't see how you'd come to that incorrect conclusion. That said it must be mad to know Nico Rosberg knows who your are!

If i was a multimiljonaire i would still buy this car, i love the desgin and its basic comfort look
This guy annoys me with his comments about fake and cheap materials i mean its not a RR ya know.
Fing low IQ Beta makes these days

No rear window wiper- what a put off! Still it would be an interesting car, unique to own in its own way. If there s a big diesel available, I d get that. Forget the hybrids as you lose too much luggage space.

we have a 2010 C5 tourer with the hydractive III at home and it is really confy, it has the double glass also. it is a really good traveller car but damn is a boat when you have a to go on to a curvy road.

Mat, you re becoming a bit annoying, with your constant nagging and throwing stuff through cars you don t own. Like you said yourself; a bit disrespectful. Criticise all you want, but be a bit more positive.

Yo word I didn t know Citroen was doing another car. Totally off subject but do You which car would win between the Agera r vs the p1 in a dig and a roll? you definitely know you stuff so I thought I d ask

Always liked Citroens. Never had one though. Depreciation is always a downside to this brand, and reliability, too. Will be a good second hand option when it's two or three years old.

1. 2Ltr engine! What a joke on a car this size! Where is the full EV? Hopefully soon, manufacturers will wake up to the fact that people are actually buying EV's and want them.

sorry to be pedantic ( as a design educator) but Charles and Ray Eames are among the most important American designers of the 20th century. hope your car knowledge is better

Mat actually does launch everything
1. He launched a website
2. He launches cars from nought to 60
3. He launches load covers
4. He launched. something else

If only the French could get the engineering side of things as reliable as the Germans, they'd be selling a lot of cars. Style wise, they're cutting edge, imo

Since diesels (which would this type of car) are out of favour, economy is sought by a 1. 2 Litre 130 PS petrol. A decent enough engine is a smaller car maybe.
