Hou should never ask to drive ever to that driver from rs2. He have no clue to launch a REAL awd car, probably he is that kind of driver which is use to launch automatic haldex cars. If he sees it bog down first time, then using LOGIC he should try to launch from 4500rpm, drop the clutch (not slip as my grandmother. i would fire instantly any driver which slip the clutch at launch)
By the way: The newer GOLF rs3 5cylinder engjne has NOTHING in common with those 5cylinders engine, except number of cylinders and the badge on it.
PS: that rs2 got BEST BRAKES from all team from that race. but still FAIL MISERABLY even brake test. That came to confirm my theory: That driver is not the proper on for racing or even driving fast ANY analog sport car, because he is unable to FEEL anything from machine, he is kind of driver which expect systems of the car to drive instead.

i had the pleasure of driving a last of the quattro cars, it was the version with the digital dash, what a car, everything about it was awesome, the handling and acceleration was better than most cars of that year.
it came to me with boost problems, the small plastic inserts that held in the injectors were broken and brittle, under boost it would just push the injector out, then back to vacuum it sucked the injector back in leaving some mechanics scratching their heads, after fitting new inserts it's back to full boost, one of my more enjoyable test drives of my career.

About 18yrs ago, my bro had an Italian m8 named Stefano. He was nuts.
He had a quattro, I don t know if it was a sport or the 20v. But it had a straight through zaust. Thing was LOUD!
I believe he was deported back to italy but I don t know why or if he ever came back. Wonder if the car is still on the road or got scraped. Wonder what it s worth if it s still about. It was LHD. Can t recall what colour.
Come to think of it he had a Lancia delta (whatever the road version of the rally car was) also. That was red.

One of the most entertaining carwow videos, mostly because of the cars. glorious sight and sounds. I'd love to record the sounds of the rally car for my phones ringtone ha. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the sound is of the turbo blow off? Either way, it's always sounded sci-fi and wonderful. Poor RS2 though, there's definately something wrong with her, they should go like stink.

Whoever is in charge vehicle maintenance at Audi heritage, needs to be put in a written notice.
Did no one bother to check the health of each car?
My 336k mile stock Prelude is faster than that rs2. Even in az desert summer weather with a sky high density altitude index. I have posted faster times then that rs2. In the winter time I m more then a second faster than it.

An original properly working Audi RS2 Avant will do a quarter mile in 13. 5 seconds all day long (I know because my neighbour had one. So that car has some kind of serious problem, 3 second slower quarter mile indicates a serious loss of power from stock.

Awesome race, the 5 cylinder is a legend of an engine! Definitely something wrong with the RS2 as that S2 kept on pulling away from it. If money is no object, I would have all 5 in my garage.

That RS2 had to be down on power. It got smoked even in the rolling race when the launch wasn't a factor anymore. I should've been at least the third fastest car if you ask me.

Around 3: 50 when the rs2 revs after this sequenze you can see blue smoke. Adding this to the bad performance of the rs2 I think there is a Problem with the engine
