All-new Volvo EX90: The most powerful Volvo EVER!

Meet the Volvo EX90 - the most powerful & luxurious car Volvo has ever built! This full-fat SUV is an all-electric replacement to the XC90, and we re about to see if it s worthy of sitting at the top of Volvo s range of SUVs. For starters, let s check out the design. Much like the petrol-powered XC90, the EX90 is pretty stylish and understated. There s a minimalist front bumper without a fake grille, flush door handles and minimalist creases down the side, and looping brake lights around the back. All-in-all, it s a pretty good-looking car! The minimalist theme continues on the inside, too! There s a large infotainment screen up front, along with soft touch, and nice materials throughout the cabin. What s more, just like in previous Volvos, a lot of these are made from recycled & renewable natural materials. elchris83: Polestar's existence is even more confusing now. It's clear the new Polestar 3 and this EX90 have the same interior, so my guess is very similar in most other places. Sadly that also means the aero that makes the Polestar 3 more efficient means is missing. So I'll put money on the fact that this thing is going to have terrible range, despite the massive battery.

It's very bland but not ugly. Better than what the Germans are doing right now.
The interior is absolutely dreadful and screams Chinese. It's REALLY bad and the biggest red flag. Everybody has to copy Tesla.
However Volvo is recent decades struggled to make reliable cars.
I doubt this will be good of they couldn't get a I. C. E. engine right after decades of building them and forgetting to make them reliable like they use too.

What s the use of having the most powerful Volvo when it can t go over 180kmph? Also I hope electrification isn t the way to go. It s not. I don t know how the enthusiasts approve of it. It s like having the same car with different body and range. Wake up guys. Electric cars will kill the enthusiasm

Nooo why do volvo make a tesla. Its much cheaper to do everything over one Tablet in the middle. Thatsy why they do it like that and no buttons. Electric cars with no buttons are trash! My dad hat a tesla, what a shitty car, that was. Now he has a Skoda Enyaq and its much much much better.

outlandish, can be good, but the iX is not the good example of it, the Tesla, is just tesla, overpriced (for the build quality u get) and overhyped (by their fans), and the Mercedes literally went down hill in design since they introduced the EVs
so this is just perfect EV SUV, for now

Still limited to 180kph? Must be quite a feeling driving around the german autobahn in your very expensive, 500hp, most poweful, luxurious suv when suddenly a salesman in his skoda fabia is flashing his lights to pass you and you have to let him by Nah, thanks, keep your nanny cars.

Why on earth would they ruin this almost perfect design with this ugly lidar sensor that makes it look like a taxi (or worse, a NIO. What a shame because everything else looks amazing on this car. Hopefully it s optional and can be spec d without it

Sadly enough the interior has become a very generic and soulless place. This interior looks like it could be a Tesla, Mustang E-mach of a chinese EV. Carmakers need to stop to just throw in a screen and not care about the rest of the interiordesign

All that tech and cost does not provide any real benefit. It is still just an SUV.
We need a Concorde moment, where there is a proper leap forward in the ownership experience.
Until then I will not be shelling out for this Betamax.

Is it me or does the audio sound like Matt is locked inside the boot of the car? Volvo styling is the best at the moment but the obsession with replacing your dashboard with an iPad is getting rather boring. It also looks a bit sh t imo!

I wish there was no physical buttons and everything was controlled through a screen that requires me to stop the car to safely function.
Said no one ever. This will go over very well with the middle aged group that buys Volvos.

Looks good. No wireless apple car play and no wireless phone charging was a non-starter for me when I shopped the smaller versions. Not even a good place to set your phone in the car when driving!

Did nobody noticed that this volvo looks like a NIO suv? Even place on dashboard where Nio assistant located - there is a speaker in Volvo
And also bump on the front glass for autopilot

First volvo ive not liked in a long time. Looks too fussy especially compared to the XC90. I also wonder why the bezels on all these car displays are so massive. Across all manufacturers

All these electric cars are FAR too expensive. China needs to start selling some of theirs here in the UK and Europe, they've got some awesome cars for much much less money.
