To whoever says this is better than bmw's system, just look up the facts and see who was the first to introduce a joystick operated infotainment system that actually works (let me help: bmw, 2001 and it quickly deployed to all models) Merc tried to copy it years later, and only added it to the w221 S-Klass. First generation W212 has a dumb menu with a dumb joystick (I know cause I checked and was really surprised) while an F10 of the same age already has the kickass NBT. Merc is not bad, it's just one generation behind trying to catch up really fast. Another thing I've noticed is that people that are more into IT and design find the BMW interface better, while people that are more basic and less needy think the merc is better

Only Android isn't full aspect ration, Apple Car Play looks glorious on this screen. As far as not being touchscreen - well that's personal preference. I found the touchscreen on equivalent BMWs annoying as when the screen is off it is covered in finger smear. It's also just more natural to use a swivel wheel while on the move I find.

I wonder why Merc decided not to make the gorgeous infotainment screen a touchscreen? It's such an obvious thing to do, especially with Android Auto and CarPlay. Perhaps it's so that they could make it an upgrade on a future facelift model.

This is just a whole bunch of personal preference. The Mercs infotainment looks better than the BMW and Audi. Mat. you are technologically challenged. I don't think Mercedes made this system for people like you.
