New Audi RS7 vs San Francisco!

New Audi RS7 vs San Francisco!

The Audi RS7 is back, with an extra helping of Performance! Though you ll have to be seriously eagle-eyed to spot any visual changes, the real story of this new super saloon lies under the bonnet. With a couple of tweaks to the turbochargers, the RS7 Performance gains 30hp and 50Nm for a total of 630hp and 850Nm. As a result, the claimed 0-60mph figure drops to 3. 4 seconds with top speed electronically capped at 189mph. Some tweaks have been made to the chassis to make the most of that additional power, namely some weight savings in the form of reduced sound deadening and the standard inclusion of rear-wheel steering. Inside, you re met with a familiar interior - albeit with some new stitching options and a little more technology as standard. All this extra goodness comes at a price though, with the Audi RS7 Performance starting at 116, 545. That s almost 20, 000 more than before! autos: I like more the Porsche Panamera, who cares the performance. Porsche forever. Thanks fo the video Mat, I had been in San Francisco in 1993, and I drove on Lombard street. No problem at all, and there weren't the cars we have today. The life was easier, now the system is complicating our lives saying that the modern technology is making our lives better than before. BS, they're just making their lives much better, getting a lot of money more than before, because they are exploiting people, more than before.

Love the Individual Car Reviews! You should drive it here in Germany on the Autobahn but i'm glad you got invited to test it in San Franciso, even if you got Limits there, still great looking Environment!
I just saw one of these 2 Days ago here on the Autobahn with Dealership Plates and It not only sounded better than i expected and was passing me effortless while i was driving 200km/h (120mph) so the Driver drove probably 220-230km/h (136mph-142mph)
Prost & Cheers from Frankfurt, Germany

Hey Matt the next time you're in San Francisco, think about taking the Pacific Coast Highway to the Redwood National Park it's a long drive almost to the border with Oregon but the roads are fantastic and you can see some of the oldest trees in the world. The performance looks like an awesome car and the drive would put its handling, and braking prowess to the test.

Audi = Acura. Or Oldsmobile. Why do they exist! Mid pack mediocre brand that disguises itself as a true competitor to Benz, BMW, Tesla, Alfa, it never was. Never in any instance would you pick and Audi over those cars. Everyone has bad taste about something. Remember Saab! What about Saturn!

Ive watched matt prance around many times whilst wearing his littleboy shorts - rain or shime. Nows hes in the sun where they would be appropriate he wears long pants. Go figure. Im not complaining if he is finally growing up and embracing his reslonsibilities and dressing accorgingly.

Why those claws on your hands, you use to climb in some trees, often use for your nose balls, or you have to follow UE and washington recommandations as men's have to look more feminine! You have no man activities (sport/work on cars/build something) use for those hands?

air suspension vs sports suspension? Air suspension has a really bad reputation: it is said to fail very often and repair should be very expensive and frequent, I was told in a Porsche dealership. Can you confirm this rumor? Audi and Porsche are the same company?

They flew him out for a commercial. I was there for the original RS4 launch. Yes, that many years ago. When I'm in California, I don't do marketing for consumption anymore. RS7. huge boat animal. An old manual 9n that read is interesting. Snooze

I went to san fran a year ago. Was in the rich area. Sure rich people in apartments all around. Nice bars and restaurants. And right outside on the sidewalks are homeless people and trash and literal shit. Watch your step. What a shithole

One of the richest town in the states! And that one of most iconic men made structure golden state bridge has one of the worst road condition! What the hell! Audi is just adding boost over same hardware which will cause early break down!

I mean california is the biggest market since people are freaking loaded there no one else can afford so many RS7 and since they are Americans they are also absolutely infatuated with high bhp cars

Never understood why the RS6 is so much more popular than the RS7 in the car community. No one's given me a convincing reason to prefer an Avant over a Sportback.

I though you were going to test how long it would take until someone would smash the car window to steal your stuff, lol. Gotta love that SF quality of life.
reply

I wished it had more rs badges across the car. Otherwise, it s okay, does not fall into what i consider good looking. But everyone s different there.

I'm confused - the official steepest street in the world (Baldwin St, New Zealand) has a gradient of 34. 8% - are you SURE that street is 41%!
reply

you were >< this close to Sonoma Raceway (Infineon) which Audi has some stuff there, did you go off camera? Anyway, welcome to Nor-Cal
reply

0 focus on the real 'performance' parts of this car, why waste all that time on the stuff that was already covered in the normal RS7 video?
reply

Mat, you need to come test a car by where I live and our roads will probably put your to shame. North GA and all around TN, NC, KY & WV.
reply

No one who is living in SF would drive his RS7 there. I am surprised you weren t mugged at some point while shooting this video.
reply

why the video is so jerky/jumpy?
that makes feel so uncomfortable to watch it, my brain is asking me to stop in an any minute: (
