McLaren Artura v Lambo Perf v Porsche 911 Turbo: DRAG RACE

National pride is at stake as British engineering takes on the might of the Italians and Germans in today s drag race. The latest car from Woking, the McLaren Artura, is making its drag race debut here. Powered by an all-new 3. 0-litre twin-turbo V6 linked up to an electric motor, the Artura produces 680hp and 800Nm. That makes it the most powerful here, though its challengers are no strangers to a competitive carwow drag race. Right next to the Arutra is the Lamborghini Huracan Performante. Now a stalwart of the supercar world, its 5. 2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 kicks out 640hp and 600Nm. Though down on the McLaren for power, it utilises an all-wheel-drive system - unlike the rear-wheel-drive Brit - so grip could be in its favour. Adding more fuel to the first is the king of launching, the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Its 3. 8-litre twin-turbo flat-six produces 650hp and 800Nm and, if you re familiar with these parts, you know it s going to have no trouble putting it down. Quite the line-up, then. Which of these supercars will fly its country s flag highest?

The Lambo is still the most desirable car of the lot to me. (which is unusual to me to prefer a Lambo )
The McLaren seems so boring to me. Sounds boring, looks good but boring. Love the British national anthem though
Love the Porsche as always! What an impressive piece of car!
You three guys should do stuffs together more often. Car related stuffs of course xD

The thing that shows how great the Turbo S is that it is THE benchmark car. And I m pretty sure it s the same car, at least the reg plate and silver paint seems to be the same every time a Turbo S is used, which would be even more impressive if the same car just pounds out 10s 1/4 mile over and over without a single hiccup.

After having already watched the German version of this race, I came here just for the entertainment, and hell I wasn t dissappointed! The Lambo driver with his Italien accent made me laugh out loud, I just love all those cliche comments about Germans, Italian and British. Please keep it on, it brightens ones mood

It honestly takes away some of the joy if these performance car drag races knowing that they would all get smoked by a 5 door, 2 ton sedan with a big hatchback and an infotainment screen in the back, which costs half the price. Tesla Plaid with track pack is just on another level for this kind of race.

Porche is the king drag for production car. however if racing in circuit. thats different story. but real life is, many people drive on the street not the track, so yeah. porsche is superb for that quick time from 0- to whatever speed you can pull

McLaren launch awesome (rwd), porsche is as impressive and perfect as always, and the performante is great, i mean you can see how launch control and tyres improve each year, it litterally bog down during launch control

12: 33 - Except Lamborghini hasn t actually been Italian for decades For the past 25 years it s just been a German in an Italian suit. And if it s about where it s made then Tesla is Chinese

I be poor as shit but I tell you what I've always loved Porsches more than Ferraris, lambos, McLarens, or any hyper cars like that. If I had the money I'd definitely be getting a gt2

Man. the adrenaline rushed into my viens when the McLaren finally crossed the Porsche and then the Lambo that's what i was willing to see. McLaren never disappoints
reply

mat and the porche, were they engine breaking like the lambo was? Lambo pressed the brake pedal and kept the engine in the high revs. Lambos IQ level is on another level
reply

I believe that the lamborghini driver break first in the last two break tests. C'mon man we all know that it is quite difficult to beat a porsche in a Break Test
reply

Kind of subdue and understated, just like a german. Though just like a german, it's probably going to win. Yeah, I think history has something to say about it.
reply

I think the lambo stopped in shorter distance because Sam was shifting down gears to help the breaks while Daniel was just holding on for dear life haha
reply

Lambo wasn't even leveled with the rest on the break test he was all the way in the back but they still give it to the Lambo 911 won all counts
reply

The 911 is insane. Destroys the Super cars while having back seats and the practicality and comfort to use as a daily or long distance cruiser.
reply

Even after all these years. Whenever I hear the German anthem followed by the Italian, I think of Michael Schumacher in his Ferrari days.
reply

Why did Sam down change if it's full emergency stop? Emergency stop should be just slamming on the brakes no downchanging? 911 is a beast.
reply

Sound volume does not mean quality. Never was and never will be. When it comes to engines, none equals a V8. So McLaren has the symphony.
reply

Im from Germany. I reall y enjoyed the Drag Race, but the English Text when Daniel speaks are absolutly not that what he' saying
reply

I bet my life that McLaren has same engine from newest c63 hybrid, it has same amount oh hp as c63 with and without electric engine
