NEW BMW M5 is a hybrid AMG KILLER!

Say hello to the all-new BMW M5 Well, kind of! Our in-house team of experts has created video footage of what we think the all-new M5 will look like, and based on past experience like with our render of the Lamborghini Revuelto, we re pretty confident that these early impressions are on the money! But how did our team come to this conclusion? Well for starters, let s go back to the beginning. When you look at old M5s, they remained pretty similar to the standard 5 Series. But over the years, the M5s have strayed further and further away from the normal car, with the latest M5s coming with crazy bodykits, massive wheels, and of course, quad tailpipes. So we re expecting BMW to continue and intensify this trend for the new M5! We re expecting it to come with a redesigned front bumper, a massive air intake up front (similar to the new M2) along with a new splitter. There will probably also be widened wheel arches, updated suspension, and a massive diffuser around the back flanked by a pair of dual exhausts. Here s the thing though, we know that the new M5 is set to be a hybrid, and we know it ll come equipped with the 197hp motor from the XM. But thankfully, it s still going to be packing a full-fat 4. 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet! And to ensure the extra weight brought in by the battery & motor doesn t impact performance, we have a feeling the power output could be considerably increased - to over 820hp, making it the fastest BMW road car of all time!

Man when people started complaining about big grills they made it much much smaller this time! Like what's wrong with BMW? Like man, I wouldn't talk of 7 series or X7 like they're something else but ok but they were meant to be as luxury cars rather than a sports sedan like M5 but the prev M5 had the most perfect grill ever, like the M5 CS, competition or F90 anyone might it be they all had the perfect ever grills from BMW. But this M2 grill just doesn't appeal at all. Like why BMW? WHY?

8: 38 that's not even true, battery size is not like the size of the fuel tank. Electric motors are often limited by battery output rather than their own power. The more cells you have, the faster you're able to draw power from them without destroying them. It's not like batteries are super-capacitors for you to be able to discharge them at any rate you want.

i mean the look is not the worst compared to the new m4 and m3, must admit that the rear is a bit worse than the front, but man are you serious. a hybrid? I knew it was coming, but why do this shit on a m5. why not make a separate hybrid supercar or smt. But idk if it is even worth to complain, atleast they kept the V8.

i hate these videos from carwow. This is a video based purely on speculation and zero facts. Throw some CG in there and lots of waffle. Matt even talks super slow to make the video as long as possible. Or maybe he is just slowly reading a script. Otherwise love Matt and his proper videos.

Good Old Fashioned V8? Timing is of the essence (npi) if I remember correctly,
V8 was new to BMW as a wannabe to MB when introduced in the 90s. That's also when it began this crazy naming scheme for competition.
Straight sixes and V12 were its bread and butter.

Don't Judge these new BMWs from online pictures or render, you have to see it in person, I changed my mind about the G8x generation after I saw in in the dealership, I think it's going to be the same with the new M5

The f90 M5 cs still remains BMW masterpiece. But this is evolution we have to evolve too. BMW gives almost ugly cars but after 2 hours you fall in love with the performance, the design then the car
reply

Too narrow, too high, too ugly.
Literally wrong proportions and design in general.
Somehow they didn't only catch up to Mercedes in terms of ugliness, but surpassed them too

reply

Looks better than the regular models without sport kit (atrocious)if it has size it will grow on you. nice job. pontiac g8 comes to mind but thats a compliment
reply

Everyone as per usual is a hater of ingenuity, hating anything that is new or never been done before. I think this car looks AMAZING. Yall carry on band wagoning
reply

bro i was waiting for the m5 since the the new 5 series launched to check if the M division could possibly make it look slightly better. but no still hideous
reply

For those who don't know the most powerful engine BMW has ever put in a car was the M12/M13 put in the 1986 Benetton B186 f1 car putting out almost 1400 hp
reply

They could also provide more power with combustion engines with ported internals etc we do it to our cars all the time but that's not the agenda the grid is
reply

What the hell is that design? Bmws are getting uglier and uglier. When I thought they couldn't get worst this gets revealed. my god kill it with fire
reply

Is anyone else puking right now. Thats not an M Car in my Opinion. if BMW goes further down this path it wont be a viable option for Carguys anymore.
reply

I think this design has the same thing as the giant grill on the M3: you'll have to see it in real life before you can really decide if you like it.
reply

Looks like a low-polygon model from an old video game
But seriously, am I out of touch with current trends in design or have they gone mad?

reply

Yes it's the fastest M ever made but you can't deny that it's an ugly, fat M with no trace of understanding of a majestic and timeless design
reply

aha!
now that is something
although it is a render
is far better concept than the new M2 which is the ugliest BMW ever

reply

At least they dont f around with the M5 design. They are always insanely good looking cars. Cant say the same for the 3 series tho: /
