I have done my first brake pad change-your video helped a lot. Front brake pads went well-only one brake line, so managed to open the caliper like shell. Unfortunately I have to give up the rear brake pad change(not drum)-I found 2 cables on the caliper-one on top and other on bottom, I dont know which caliper pin to open. However I tried one, but the second cable was pulling, so I stopped it. I think one line was brake fluid and bottom line was like a spring at the end-believe its a sensor or hand brake. Hope you will add some video with complex lines on brake caliper. Secondly my Brake rotor has got screws to remove, and it was all crushed in, I tried to hammer(got some grip) it to loosen, but nothing worked-might need an impact gun or a proffessional to remove it. Hope you add videos on rotors with screws as well. Thank you for your videos.

Hi Chris. I really need your help as i am about to change my pads and discs. I noticed you changed your clips too. Is this vital? I am asking as these clips are almost as expensive in UK as the Rotors ( what we call discs) for a Lexus sc430. The lexus mechanics only use new clips if they have no choice I've been told

Just did my own brake pads and discs, all went to plan except it didn't at all (bottom calipers bolt wasn't a calipers bolt, just a normal bolt with locking wire, which was impossible to remove(rust) and my discs were seized on to the max (wd40 saves lives) but I did do it with a lot of pain and rust.

Chris, I ended up having someone with experience help me do the brake job to make sure I was doing it right, but your video gave me the confidence to even try and do it myself. It was a really good feeling of accomplishment at the end. Thank you!

Is there a Break-In procedure after replacing the brakes with new pads and rotors? Is there a proper procedure required so you do not hear any sounds or squeals after replacing the rotors and pads, and to ensure optimal performance?

I'm so glad they incorporated ratchet with the wrench now! So much easier! You rock bro! Sinks and to the point. I'm using this to refresh me memory. it's been awhile lol! Thanks!

Is it necessary to replace the rotors along with the brakes, or can I just change the brake pads?
I searched the comments to see if anyone has asked this before.

Hi Chris! Big fan. Does the torque differ on other kinds of cars or brake setups? Or are the specifications you mentioned a good general torque? Thank you!

What if you don't have access to brake clean or thread locker? And do you need to use anti sieze? And do I need to clean/grease the guide pins?
