Learn how to replace spark plugs, inspect spark plugs, gap spark plugs, figure out what spark plugs are best for your car and where to use antiseize and dielectric grease. I cover every aspect in spark plug and wire replacement all in one video! Again, thanks Advance Auto Parts for providing all of those spark plugs so I could make the video! Here is what I used

Today I finally decided to replace my spark plugs on my Kia Spectra 2007, and I would never had done it myself without this video!
I definitely almost screwed up 'cause I didn't attach the spark plug to the socket correctly, so the plug fell off inside the well: ( luckily the plug was fine.
Also my ratchet wasn't grabbing the spark plug socket after installing the new plug, so I had to tape the extension bar to the socket lol.
I'm so grateful, you are amazing Chris. This is my second DYI thanks to you, sending some love from El Salvador.

My Toyota Yaris 2016 spark plugs got stuck. I took my car for periodic maintenance to a Toyota service Center. They told me that my spark plugs got stuck. If they try harder, the casing holding the spark plugs might crack. They said I might be able to run another 100k kilometer with current spark plugs. What are the consequences and what do you suggest?

Hey Chris, I've got a 1980 camaro, I had a rough idle and a backfire if I let off the gas quickly. Now, I thought it might be a vacuum line since there's about 86 thousand of them on this car, but I think its the plugs. I burn oil and it used to run rich due to retarded timing so I'm sure I have some fouled plugs

Owners manuals do not take into account improving technology. Over time plugs get better and last longer. Even a standard copper plug will outperform and outlast a copper plug that was made 20 years ago. Much like oil today. As for anti seize. always use copper based anti seize or one with a magnesium based.

My car fails plugs in like two weeks and will miss at idle and when trying to leave gear. The dude at the parts store said my car is running rich by the look of the plugs i brought in. I have a new air filter map sensor and idle control sensor what could also make it cause it to run rich?

Let me know what you think or know? I put octane booster with MMT in it in my car and all of my plugs turned orange! Will this orange film come off if I quit using octane booster or do i need ot change my plugs?

Yooo! I dont have a check engine light, but my car kind of lags when coming to a full stop (shakes alot) and lags when accelerating. Where should my RPMs be on a 2003 GS300? Any ideas?

Is the smell of gas another indicator that spark plugs need to be replaced? My truck rough idles and is hard to start. Im guessing it smells of gas from the gas that wasnt ignited?
