94 ranger, couple yrs ago I had rough idle. Mechanic unplugged the sensor, said it wouldn't hurt anything and I drove it that way until recently when I was having problems with it cranking but no start. Hasn't done it since hooking back up. Going 2mro to get a can of that cleaner and return the cam sensor I purchased great video

I tried cleaning mine and code returned so I got rid of oiled filter, installed paper and cleaned, code returned. Do MAF sensors wear out? Tried new sensor anyway, code returned. Now I get 100 and 110 as well. No vac leaks, going to look at injectors/seals. O2 sensors? Can they be cleaned?

Hey Chris, I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 3. 0 and I think I need to either clean the air flow sensor too, or replace it. But I don't have an access area to the back of mine like your video shows. Should I try to get the anti-tamper stem screws out, and if so, how? Thank you.

I had P0101 code. My local official dealer's service said you have to replace MAF sensor but we can't guarantee thai it would solve the problem. New sensor's price 270. I found this video, I bought a caleaner for 10, I cleaned senor and I saved 260. Thank you!

i justr cleaned my MAF and my throttle body on a Swift Sport 09'. After warming up the car it idles below 900rpm but if i give it some gas it revvs up and then stays at 1300 for a little while. Then slowly comes down to idle. What could be the reason?

My airflow sensor is literally drenched with engine oil after a bad valve cover gasket leak. It was positioned at the intake manifold. It works fine for years. Took it out today and cleaned it. Nothing much changed so far.

Hey, I searched everywhere in my country but couldnt find MAF sensor cleaner. But I found this called electronic contact cleaner, and it says it is non conductive, dries fast and leaves no residue. Does this also work?

Im having trouble finding an MAF cleaner. I've read online that you can use carb cleaner to clean it, just to let it dry for a very long time but I don't know if ots ok to do it. Any help please?

Dude you did this the hard way the easiest way to do this would've been to dismount the MAF from the air intake, loosening the two screws on the part itself without removing the air box housing
