Learn how to replace the ENTIRE front suspension of your car in this two episode series. First I will show you how to remove the wheel bearing, ball joints, control arms, tie rod, strut, and axle. The ball joint and wheel bearing has to be pressed out of the knuckle and I have a bunch of tips and tricks to make that easy. The upper control arm ball joint and tie rod can get stuck in the knuckle so I show some tricks on how to easily remove that. The rest of the suspension parts are pretty simple to remove and replace. Great video. i used this to rebuild my 97 Accord SE. I took out everything just like you did. except I didn't change out my bearings Just a few differences, one being the rotor doesn't come off like this which made it harder to find a ball joint kit. Since I could not find a kit to work I just took my knuckle to a shop and they charged me 25 per bushing to push them in, which i didn't think was to bad. The 97 Accord has a washer that also attaches to the inner tie rod PN# 53535-SV4-003, washer tie rod stopper, which I ordered. My bushings didn't have lock rings, which you wonder whether there even needed but Im installing them anyways, but I was scratching my head looking for them till I realized they didn't put them in originally. All my stuff was original, I am the only owner so it definitely wasn't done before. Surprisingly everything didn't need to be replaced, 225, 000 miles, but my CV boots were leaking and the shocks needing changing, so why not. Again, great video, your the man Chris

This car has a double wishbone front suspension typical for Hondas of the 90s. Nowadays most cars (even some luxury and sports cars) have a cheaper and simplier MacPherson strut in the front that's kinda different. E. g. it has only one (lower) control arm, only one ball joint (on the control arm) and has an upper support bearing that _should_ be better replaced together with shocks replacement.
