I'm as a kid who prefers gasoline engines am actually very excited for the electric revolution to kick in. Because right now electric swaps are cool, but when they become mainstream, gasoline engine swaps will be the sht and because we have already gone so far into the technology for internal combustion engines that i doubt that they will be expensive, plus they will be much more rare so hopefully there are gonna be no taxes for emissions. And i doubt that evolution in internal comebustion will stop because there are a lot of gasoline engine fanatics (including me) who will not let the internal combustion engine fade away.

My 2 cents: 1. I like the sound of internal combustion a lot2. I would rather have options for gas stations instead of what my electric company feels like charging for electricity (besides I don't have a Slushie machine in my garage. yet)3. Pretty sure electric cars will be very fast, very soon and I don't care. I like the sound of a V8, see #1. 4. I would rather wrench on a regular vehicle than 400-600 watts and hundreds of amps (DC not AC, big difference. I have been shocked by 240 30amps AC, 3/10 would not recommend.

Ring doorbell products only serve to facilitate your interaction with people you know you don't want to talk to. People you know have your ph#, you know when packages are delivered and could put the all that Ring money towards a better priced FULL home camera system. That leaves everyone else that would stop by your house unannounced. Literally no one stopping by your house unannounced is someone you want to talk to. The days of Ed McMahan with a giant check for you are over(and if we're being honest never existed.

But but. but there's no SOUND A huge portion of hotrodding and automotive enjoyment in general is the sense of drama sound and vibrations you get during the driving experience. Electric conversion is certainly cool and a great way to make a little tooling around town car but you've got a long LONG way to go to convince Old School Hot Rodders to make Jetsons noises not rumbling noises BTW thanks for another Episode and James get well soon

Yes, electric cars are cool but the problem still remains; where the power comes from, solar - aint producing much, wind - need a heck-a-lot of turbines, water -sure, coal -a lot of power still comes from fossil fuels, nuclear power -it's quite efficient but produces heavier isotopes in the coolant that leaks out and aint that great. solution? feck if i know im not even real for all you know

The problem with these swaps is that if you want the power Tesla P100D makes you need entirety of the Tesla battery package and motors. Or less batteries with much denser capacity for same range and power but less weight (non existent yet) or less batteries and electric motor/motors with higher current flow, so it can drain them quicker but then you have no range at all.

I have a 3V mustang same as you, you are NOT getting 250 miles to the tank. Maybe more like. 180 to 200 max. I average 12-14 MPG and thats with a lot of highway driving. A lot of highway PULLS, but, your a mustang owner its what you do. 16 gallon tank means 190-220 miles from full to out of gas. And you should NEVER run out of gas. Destroys your fuel pump.

The problem of electric cars isn't they're slow or you can't recharge them. Is that they're ugly as hell. Other than Tesla and Supercars, they just look like junk. So who in their right mind would waste money on them when for the same price you can get a 10. 000. 000. 000 times better looking car? That's where I think retrofitting is a good thing
