i suspect that clutch will actually do the opposite once it gets run in, having smaller surface was probably done with the intent of increasing the window and not shrinking it, also form your first test saying is not that bad it's actually a good sign as any new clutch will have a very short window, i remember my first clutch change i was getting the weird looks whenever i was shifting gears, the window was really small, really close to the floor, and o top of that the pedal was much much softer due to piston change

was this 3 puck clutch maybe supposed to be a weight reduction/racing clutch? I admit I don't know shit about clutches but the changes from the other clutch make it seem like it was just built to save weight and make it shift really tight. Perhaps it's meant to be paired with a specific type of transmission? Like maybe it works really well with a sequential?

I owe you thanks for inspiring me to follow through on my dream to go get a fun little sporty car and start working on it myself. 2003 Celica GT 5 speed. Just changed the oil by myself for the first time. I know I'm a car noob, but I look forward to following your progress and doing what I can to make my car even better. Cheers, and thanks again!

I didn t feel like watching this video. Not much new to clutches in a long time. All us car guys know what a puck clutch is already, next video please. Ps have fun replacing that puck clutch after 300miles and I ll say some prayers for your neck when you learn that these clutchs have no clutch too them and are pretty much off or on.

take some brake pads and stick them on a plate. Make it triangle to give some cool and performant apearence (stiil looks like someone sticked some brakepads there and that doesn't give me any confidance that is a good ideea to change a regular clutch with that monstrosity) and voila: You got some racing clutch there bro!

looks like an authentic Exedy so i don't expect it to give any problems down the line. the figure they give you is conservative. Typically good companies like exedy, ACT, clutch masters, southbend etc underrate their clutches. So i would not be at all surprised to see it doing just fine with well over 250 ft. lbs

I daily drive with a six puck clutch and even pull trailers and stuff in my pickup when it gets hot it gets a little grabby but I didn't have a choice because it was the only thing that would hold 500 foot pounds the stock clutch disintegrated and stacked itself within like a month it literally split the clutch in half

Probably my least favorite job I've ever had while working on a vehicle was being the transmission jack and pushing the transmission back into a 1978 Cherokee Golden Eagle with my legs. And then having my buddy realize he had the wrong bolts and had to go find them.

Ummmm, is it just me or reusing the old flywheel bolts is a big no-no since they stretch? At least that's what happens with stock bolts, on my first flywheel reinstall there were no new bolts in the clutch kit, so reused the old ones, of which 2 snapped off
