ANTI-LAG How it Works

Turbos are great But that boost comes after some lag while the turbo spools up. Some high performance cars are equipped with ANTILAG systems to keep those turbos spinning away They pop and bang to keep their sweet sweet turbos spooled up Theyre the darlings of Drifting and Rally We break down the two kinds of antilag systems youre most likely to encounter, and we compare them with the also awesome two step rev limiting. All of them sound awesome and can shoot flames

there's another anti-lag system applied on the 2016 Ford GT LM GTE car: the Anti-lag is active when the throttle is slightly pushed. so, when you're off the gas pedal, no anti-lag. but when you apply slowly the gas pedal, the car gets the farty sound until a certain point of the throttle where the turbos has got the maximum boost pressure

VW uses a super charger ( cool name for air compressor ) that compresses air into a storage cylinder, so when the combustion cylinders aren't under power. the stored compressed air keeps the turbos spooled. No bad bang bang going on in the exhaust manifold. .sounds expensive and a paaaaain in the ass to work on.

If i dont want lag, i just install a blower style Supercharger. Unlike turbos, it works without pushing the fuel trough the Carburetor Jets. The Fuel pump is NOT where the Boost is supposed to be. And personally i dislike EFI Systems.

Why don't they just build a half electric turbo and feed the electric from the battery, this could start the turbine off from nothing and stop the lag instead of wasting more fuel damaging the turbo in the method you just shown use.

I have no idea what did I watch, it was just recommended, but the enthusiasm of the dude just kept me watchingBANG BANG Good thing I know now that the turbo causes the explosions. Altho', I really don't understand how, but it does.

Ok hold on why are all of these anime/initial Ds fan girls spamming the same shit? Fine we get it. One of you said it once, now GTFOHOh and im ready for these fangirls to attack me, Well then bring it on

yeah but it's not very good for the turbo anti lag that is and spitting fire out of the exhaust causes a turbo to want to slow down stop even do you have combustion happening and it's not good to have that in the turbo

Hi. I have a question. I own a 1. 5L Subaru Impreza 2009 model. It does not rumble and does not sound like a WRX. This pisses me off I installed a HKS 3. 5 muffler but the sound is not to my satisfaction. WHAT CAN I DO?

notice how I'm your diagram the combustion goes up around the wheel and down around the wheel at the same time and should really just only help in the direction that it's spinning it

launch-control and anti lag are differnet things? anti-lag is on when youre off throttle, and 2step/launch control is a rpm limited with retarded timing. am i completely wrong?
