Great video and interesting ones! Keep them coming with the connections to other industries than automotive/car that the they do.
Sad day when Saab where closing it's car making. But it's still here and manufactures a lot of things for the military aircraft and systems to it. Many systems that controls like missiles and aircraft defence and also for training purposes in the military. And some smaller commercial airplanes as well. Then you have the submarines and military boats and such. During a training the Saab submarine made one US military ship embaressed LOL.
Man wish that Saab automotive was still here. Volvo has done some other parts as well. What comes to mind is Volvo-Penta marine engines. Which some used parts from to tune the engines in cars with for stronger parts when you got more HP.
Mitsubishi I think still does a lot of air conditioners for houses and buildings and stuff which is quite good. It's cool with these other kind of products the car brands does.
The Lamborghini story is so awesome how it where made. I've driven both Lambo tractors and also Porsche tractors and here Volvo also did tractors that where awesome and many is around to this day with manufactured around 50s-70s. Ford and Fiat and certainly many more did tractors for farming and such back in the day.
Maybe if you where to go through the ownerships of the different car brands. And you will see a mess that many car brands is in cooperation this way.

Sure, you can call me a Tesla fan, but that video went to far ignoring some incredible stuff that Elon Musk put together, and instead makes a joke about his kid's name. After a questionable video about electric cars, that one did it, more Donut for me, thanks

Mercedes also supplied diesel generators. I only know of ones found in the Yugoslavian submarines, which are 2 giant V12s mounted next to each other. A surprise to see a Mercedes badge in a Soviet country arsenal.

You guys always do such a great job of dropping old video links in your new videos. I think it would be awesome to see a wheel house on car manufactures and their contributions to the military/war times services.

About the BMW logo, It is a homage to parts of the Bavarian crest, not a propeller in the sky. The misconception about the propeller came from one of their commercials.

BMW Design teamed up with Ernie Ball for the Music Man Bongo Bass. Which is designed to be perfectly balanced and counter neck and back issues some players encounter.
