Best Beginner Racecars for CHEAP WheelHouse BlueWRX Subie: FRS can be picked up 4 under 10k nowadays if you shop right. 200hp and an amazing chassi makes them amazing drift machines in their stock form and you keep all the modern amenities so you can make it a great daily driver. and they are still new enough to were you can get a loan for them with low payments. if you don't have 5k laying around financing a used FRS is a great idea, just don't take it to the drag strip.

Man I must be on point. I used to autox. I had a Miata, a handful of gtis and a turbo mr2. I want to get back into it with a bimmer. Never owned a bimmer but Im thinking a 335i would be awesome for daily use and would do great at autox with some suspension and tires. Low end torque for days and they can be had for pretty cheap these days. Maybe not five grand but not far off.

My cousing, a west-country champion in carcross (folkrace) puts bmw engines in volvos because the engine is very cheap to fix and maintain, as well as its really easy to find parts for volvos. 240s have a very big engine bay which makes engine swaps and maintenance a dream. The volvo chassi is easy to drift with, if thats your drift badum tsss

You Americans need to drive a mk6 fiesta or the ST. Fwd, sticks to the road like hell, standard comes with 85 ish hp but some can be mapped to like 150. Popular for country road street racing as they honestly grip, don't get any problems too and easy to modify. They don't get much love out of the UK: (

Cars are great and everything what about trailers, other support such as mechanics, parts or spares and to rally you need a specific rally licence and you need to make sure you car is fitted with all the necessary safety equipmentYour not just looking at a 5, 000 car it ends up costing alot more

Grew up all about drifting as it became a thing. Now as a grown up, I'm looking to get into autocross. I wanna fix up my tc a bit first, now that it's paid off. Im thinking I might go foxbody in the future though. Lately, Neons are looking pretty sweet to though.

I used to auto cross my gen1 escort gt in collage. As of now it's out back being modified slow but sure. I fully plan to take it back to auto cross. Though I want to go do some track days as well. Yay project car no one messes with any more.

I just picked up a 1999 Subaru Outback, which I plan on building into an entry-level autocross/rallycross car, as well as just a daily driver. It's my 8th Subaru, and the first one I feel I have any hope of actually racing in.
